The absolute worst experience ever! We ordered 2 meals on Popeye's website and got a message that it will be delivered by Doordash. We ended up getting only 1 meal out of the 2 meals, and they forgot our drinks and sauces. But not only did we get less than half of what we paid for, but it was delivered on a pile of snow! We texted the Doordash driver letting him know that he didn't deliver to our door and he only got us half of our meals and no drinks. He said that this is what he was given at the store. We called the store about 7 times back to back to understand what was going on, but no one picked up the phone. Please note this was an hour before store closing hours. We ended up taking our car and drove to the store ourselves. The employees said they ran out of chicken and drinks, and the tenders were sold out at 4pm....how does Popeyes run out of chicken at 4pm?! In addition, they said they couldn't refund us either because it's an online order. We told them that they should have called us to tell us they were sold out of everything, they said they don't call customers and the DoorDash driver should have called us and told us. They told us to reach out to Popeyes online to get a refund. The store was absolutely empty, and the employees were sitting on their phones, why couldn't they have called us to tell us they ran out of everything? Better yet, why couldn't they have just picked up the phone, and saved us a 15 min drive to and back?! As soon as we left the store, they ended up turning off all the lights and employees were out the door 10 mins before closing time.

Read moreDo not order online pick-up. If they're understaffed, then they will make you go through the drive thru. You cannot be refunded for the order even if it isn't prepared/started at the pickup time.
I ordered for pick up 30 minutes in advance- while I was at work. When I went to get my order, I was told that I couldn't cancel my order, get a refund, ect; therefore, I either had to wait 60+ additional minutes in the drive thru (with cars wrapping around the building) or lose 25 dollars. My order wasn't ready/prepared at 7:30 either- so I don't know why I wasn't allowed to get a refund? I'd understand not allowing refunds if they had already made my order but they hadn't even started making it. At that point, it's basically just stealing.
Luckily, an employee did prepare my order but he was the only employee there that was even willing to do it. Everyone else just told me that I couldn't have a refund and I couldn't have my order UNLESS I waited in the drive thru. I didn't even get everything that I paid for because they had "ran out of fries," I was offered no refund for the money spent on that either.
I work 12-13 hours at a hospital; therefore, they're closed when I go into work and at 7:30-8PM when I get out of work, they're very busy. Truly the worst fast food experience I have ever had. I wish I could sum this up better to save readers time. Drive thru wasnt responsive after waiting for 5 minutes. I had to go inside to get any service, noticed my app order was in a line of unread/unmanaged receipts spewing from the counter machine. Even though there were 5+ workers only two were working while the others walked around ranting about random things. It took 5 minutes to get anyone to come up to the counter to help me and the other 3 people there. One staff member started preparing my food and said he needed 7 minutes for the blackened tenders, he then left the store with a backpack and I never saw him again. After 12 more minutes I was able to get another worker to help with my order, which I had to fully repeat and they THEN started making. To finish it all off my order was almost completely wrong, incorrect type of chicken, sauce, and they didnt give me the dessert I paid for (I guess I should have triple checked).
