Five Guys — Restaurant in Yucaipa

Happiest & most welcoming Five Guys I've ever been to. Sadly it seemed like it was a one man show, but the cook definitely made an effort to make sure I felt welcome there. He was in the middle of cooking & had to ask a woman if she was going to help me or if he should. She saw that she wasn't doing anything & he was basically doing everything so she slowly sad nah I got it & came over. It seemed like it was a daily occurrence of others not doing much & him & this other cook running the show. When I came back in he even welcomed me back. Lol. And he was also the only one paying enough attention to know it was my order that was being worked on. When another worker came in he yelled "welcome to work". She was not impressed. There was some tension the whole time I was there & he was the only one trying to make sure nobody noticed. While I felt the tension, I appreciated his efforts to lighten the mood. Great...

I had high expectations and they were almost met. My burger wasn’t really made to my requests as I had asked for extra lettuce and A1 sauce but I think they ignored it. I advise you guys to eat this burger quickly or else the bottom bun starts to dissolve in burger juices. Also the fry cook wasn’t doing their best tonight. The fry’s were hot but not salted enough nor cooked enough to give that crispy exterior and pillowy interior like they advertise on the walls but no, they were soft and hot with a touch of industrial salt. I got a double double bacon cheeseburger and large fry and it came out to 20$ so be prepared to spend a lot for the full course meal and shake. Went again and service is good but check your burger customizations before you leave they will ignore...

The customer service is always top notch and I truly beleive you don't pay your employees nearly enough with the care they provide and how overpriced your food is. The food is definitely damn good and super easy to customize what you want. My only pet peeve are the fries. You guys do great by giving alot, but 1. it's always a long wait time and 2. you just dump them into the cup in the bag overflowing and it just makes the tinfoil the other food is wrapped in super greasy and salty. I love your food but man is it difficult to enjoy when all the wrappers and tinfoil is just covered in a horrific mess of tinfoil and salt. Please stop doing that.
