Food is ok. I would say there has been a major shift in taste since the reopening. The portions are more than decent but the actual food seems to lack flavor. It might be a new meat vendor or cook but the food just isnt as flavorful as before. They have definitely improved their service as the waitresses are available and will usually get you what you requested pretty quick.

I'll breakdown exactly why I gave this place a 3 on food.

Food Score: 3 The meats such as Steak, beef and the chicken all seem to just have no flavor. It's so weird because you get a meal that looks amazing but as soon as you taste the main element of why you bought it there's nothing there. I've ran into this in other locations and its usually the source of where they bought the meat and in rare occasions its the recipe. Also their chicken seems soft but not a positive way. We've been eating here for more than 15 years, but sadly no more. The new owner waited on us at our last visit. I ordered from the new breakfast special menu : egg, potato, cheese burrito with a drink for $4.99. My husband ordered Chile Verde with eggs and a glass of water. I was surprised when the bill came and we were charged for our meals and two soft drinks at 2.95 each. When we tried to point out that my husband had only water to drink, and my drink was supposed to have been included with the meal, she argued that I had been served a "large" soda instead of the "medium" that came with the burrito. Not my choice, but hers - she served it. I told her I wanted the special and pointed to the sign when I ordered. After attempting to explain again, she handed us $3.00 back in frustration. I guess the difference between a med drink and a large was more important than a long time customer. 🤔😟 good food, but nickel and dimeing your customers isn't good...

This was our first time visiting. We came in because they said it was great. Unfortunately we had to wait 20 min to be seated in a crowded table for 4 when 3 prior guest of 2 ppl got seated on a booth with alot of space. We sat waiting for our waiter but nothing so I got up asked who our waiter was yet nobody knew then said oh it's that lady. I asked if possible when I booth clears can we be moved she said we'll idk it's the same thing. I went back to my table and the waiter not only did she get chips and salsa with drinks to the table next to us who clearly came after us and got seated after us but also proceeded to get there food order. I went ahead and informed the front check in staff that we would be leaving because service was not being met. This was a horrible first impression and we will not return. Customer service needs to be evaluated and taken priority for all guests. Until they value their customers we will not return to try out...
