Then we start off my review by saying I am in the minority with my two-star opinion...
Everyone here in Yuma raves about Boston's. That being said, the following is my experience and opinion.
First off, we went to dinner at Boston's on a Thursday evening and arrived at approximately 6:00 p.m. we were seated rather quickly, within three or four minutes. Then, it didn't take too long for them to take our order, about 15 minutes. Unfortunately, things went downhill from here. It took over 30 minutes for our food to arrive from the time that our order was taken. Then, when it did, my wife ordered the French dip sandwich, and it was so soggy that the bottom piece of bread was falling apart. That's not what a French dip is supposed to be. The juice is supposed to be on the side and the bread is supposed to be toasted so that it retains some texture after you've dipped it into the sauce. It appeared that they had poured the sauce all over the bottom piece before serving it which made it incredibly soggy and disgusting.
As a side, she got the french fries which were supposed to be seasoned but I and she could detect no flavor at all and they were just cold and nasty.
I ordered the full rack of ribs for $22. They were out of truffle french fries, which was my first choice. They were also out of my second choice which was sweet potato fries. So they served the "seasoned" fries and roasted vegetables. Again, I've already said what I feel about the seasoned fries, but the roasted vegetables were also nasty. Completely overcooked and mushy with very little flavor.
The one highlight of the evening were the ribs! They were delicious and tender! That's the only reason I'm giving two stars. Otherwise it would have been one.
As far as atmosphere goes, I know it's a sports bar but it was purposefully designed to be insanely noisy. Every surface from the ceiling to the walls to the floor is designed to reflect sound and make it to the point that I was unable to hold a conversation with my wife even at elevated tones and feel like I wasn't shouting for the entire restaurant to hear. My son who is 19 thinks this place is the best but, it's just not my style and I don't care for it at all. I will not be returning and would not...

Our waitress (Alissa O) was terribly un-attentive. There were only two other tables dining when we arrived at 8pm on Sunday August 17th. Took 20 minutes for her to ask us for our beverage order. Ten more minutes elapsed before drinks were brought to the table. We ordered a pizza and salad with honey mustard dressing.
The pizza arrived in about 20 minutes. It was awful! The crust had no flavor, and we suspect it is frozen dough from Sysco. There was barely one slice of pepperoni on each piece. The uncooked dough in the middle of the pizza made everything but the very outside edge inedible. (See photos). We wanted to tell our waitress, but she was nowhere to be found. Finally saw her, told her we thought the pizza was raw in the middle, with no response from her, just a blank stare. So we asked about the salad (that should have been brought prior to the pizza). She apologized, and said she'd go get one right then.
Ten minutes later she brings a CESAR salad, and says "I made you a cesar, and you won't be charged for the salad." And walked away...disappearing once again.
My husband and I just stared at each other in disbelief.
Neither one of us really care for Cesar, but the pizza was already a flop, so we tried it. It was swimming in dressing. I guess Boston's doesn't know how a Cesar salad should be. The lettuce was very wilted, and brown in many spots. We took only one bite each, that was enough to know we won't ever be back. See my photos of RAW dough and disgusting salad. I cannot recommend Boston's...
Read moreit was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere.
The standout of the evening was undoubtedly our bartender, JJ. Her exceptional service and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. Not only was she incredibly friendly, but she was also incredibly fast, ensuring that we never had to wait long for our drinks. It was evident that she knew exactly what she was doing and took great pride in her work. Additionally, the other bartenders were just as delightful, showing a genuine understanding of how to treat guests with the utmost care and respect.
Now, letâs talk about the food. We decided to try the Margherita pizza and the Caesar salad, and both dishes exceeded our expectations. The Margherita pizza was a perfect blend of flavors, with a thin and crispy crust that was just right. The fresh tomatoes, basil, and mozzarella cheese created a harmonious combination that left us craving more. The Caesar salad was also a hit, with crisp romaine lettuce, a creamy dressing, and just the right amount of Parmesan cheese.
Overall, Boston Pizza provided a fantastic dining experience. The exceptional service from JJ and the other bartenders, combined with the delicious food, made for a memorable evening. I highly recommend visiting this establishment for a great meal and a...
