As a restaurant in an airport, it is definitely a good place to get a decent meal. But be warned if the seating is few and the wait staff consists of one person, have at least a 2 to 3 hour layover. The management is running this place completely understaffed. A large group arrived saying they had given 3 weeks notice they were coming, yet only had one poor girl to take care of 30 plus guest at the same time in the upper restaurant. Both up and down appear to both use the same kitchen. The poor girl was not only taking orders but acting as bar tender and mixing drinks. I repeatedly heard that the downtown location was much more organized and best to visit. Having never been to that location, I'm not one to compare. The food was a little above average and served luke warm. I really blame that on being understaffed and possibly in the kitchen, also. My only question was why the manager was not out doing her part. Maybe she was running the kitchen. One can only hope she is a hands-on manager to keep her staff feeling aided in every way. All in all, a 3.5 to 4 star rating. But a 5 star to the poor girl trying to please all her...
Read moreWorst dining experience I have ever had. No clean tables in the restaurant. Waitress had to clean one in order for our family of 5 to sit down. Ordered drinks and recieved them pretty quick. Then ordered food and the wait began. May have been approximately 1 hour before food arrived. All our drinks were empty, waitress never stopped by again. We flagged her down for drinks and condiments and they never arrived. Got up and went to the bar to be refilled and was told the waitress would bring our drinks. I almost went to the drinking fountain for water. Part of our food order never arrived. Had to ask for our check. After being there almost 2 hours we finally were able to leave. Before you say they were busy, we were 1 of 2 tables there. Every single table was dirty and as we were leaving we watched the waitress clean another table for an incoming group. On the upside the food was great, but I wouldn't spend the time...
Read moreWe have two Brewers locations in Yuma, Arizona. The one I visited is located inside the Yuma International Airport. Don't worry they validate, and you park under a solar panel array so your car isn't too warm when you get out.
The Brewers Restaurant has two sections one at the bottom and one on the second floor which overlooks the flightline, and since YIA shares its flightline with the Marine base you can see some pretty awesome aircrafts taking off.
I've been to both locations and the staff has always been professional, courteous and attentive. Both places are always clean and the ambiance is pretty mellow except on game day.
I ordered breakfast 2 eggs sunny side up, hashbrowns, and turkey sausage. Eggs were perfect and not runny, hashbrowns were perfectly toasted and the sausage was just right.
Our server was charismatic and energetic and made the experience a great one. I definitely recommend them...
