Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Yuma

This is probably the worst Dutch bros I’ve ever been too. They are ridiculously sloppy there is no structure in how they operate. They are all children I don’t see a single adult working there. I was in line and there was two cars clearly employees in the line and they took up about 30 minutes of the time in the line. The worker taking the orders was handing her iPad to the people in each car and joking around with them and chatting it up with them mean while a line formed. People from the second car hopped out and ran up to the window and was talking to the worker there and then ran back and hopped into the other car. This whole thing is taking up so much time and when it was finally my turn to order the guy went to the other car who had gotten there way later than I did. Zero personality from the guy taking my order you can see the clear difference between their friends when they’re ordering and customers. To make matters worse one of the cars that was holding up the line who was friends/employees got their drinks in the drive thru and then parked their car and all of them walked out and came up to the Dutch store ? I have no idea who is managing this location but it’s honestly so messy. They all act and look like children. When I was at the window waiting for my drinks they were screaming and yelling inside and acting so immature. I support having fun at your job but when it starts affecting the business that’s when you should act more professional and do what you were trained to do during a rush and get the line down as smooth as possible. 2025 update: Since Dutch Bros is one of my favorite coffee/tea shops, I am always excited to visit Yuma since there isn't one close to me. I thought I would try this location again since it had been a couple of years. The Paris tea used to be their standard black tea but must have recently changed to a regular plain black tea. If you want the Paris flavored tea, you must request it. Much to my dismay, when I got to the window, the cold pour that I ordered was barely tea colored. It was so weak that it looked more like water. I was given the teabags, but the water was too cool to steep. When I asked if they could just pour it out and fill the cup with hot water so the teabags could have time to steep, the server was puzzled. She took the cup back, but when she gave it back, it was still barely tinted brown and was cold to the touch. For sure it was $5 wasted. I am not sure I will come back to this location on future Yuma visits.

I usually stop at this Dutch Bros about once a month on my way to Texas. The service has always been just decent, never great, but today it was worse than usual.

I ordered at the drive up window, as I always do at Dutch Bros. It took quite a while for them to bring my drink while I stood outside in the Arizona heat with no cover. When my drink finally came, it had only a few boba pearls, even though I had ordered it with boba. I politely mentioned that my drink barely had any. The employee, whose name started with a V (I believe it was Viridiana), loudly yelled back that we were “complaining about the boba.” Instead of simply explaining that they had run out, she took the drink back with an attitude and scraped boba from the container in a rude manner.

A simple “we’re out of boba” would have been fine, but the way she handled the situation came off as dismissive and unprofessional. Very disappointing, especially for a place I frequent. Unfortunately, I won’t...
