I love this place... We don't live close to it but we make excuses to go near it so we can go there.
So far all I have eaten are the fish tacos and the shrimp tacos and I have to say they are the best I mean THE best fish and shrimp tacos I have eaten. Large shrimp that actually taste like shrimp and large portions of fish that actually taste like fish and all cooked perfectly... and so many different sauces to choose from... my favorite ones are the green one and the orange one...I think it's orange... anyway, it's on the table in a squirt bottle.
I'm sure the other food is just as good, and I really intend to branch out and try other things but the tacos are so good I just keep ordering them.
I'll let you in on a secret... now don't tell anyone, but... on Tuesdays you can get 3 fish tacos for the price of two fish tacos. It's almost like your stealing one.
Everyone working there is so friendly and helpful. It's so refreshing. And they keep the place spotless.
The only thing is... sometimes the bass is a little too high in their sound system for my taste, but each time I ask, they adjust it down for me. So, if the music is rattling your dentures, just ask them politely and they will adjust it for you...
Read moreMe and my wife stopped by for a late lunch , were looking for a great seafood place and one of my coworkers highly recommended this place . I ordered three malicha tacos , which are stuffed with shrimp, octopus, scallops onions and green peppers , nicely cooked in a oyster or soy sauce type of sauce. Tacos are then lightly grilled in light oil. My wife ordered three Marlyn Tacos, which eventually are announced as tuna, but are still really good . As an appetizer , we ordered the 6 shrimp and cheese peppers , we did three breaded and three grilled . Last , we ordered a tostada reina to share , boy were we surprised, it was a tower of seafood . We didn't eve poke it but rather took it home and had it on the following day . This tostada reina feeds to persons . I'm hoping to go back today for a seafood soup. Highly recommend this place . Sorry, but I can't say anything about the prices , since the food was well deserved and perfect served, portions exceeded my expectations. Definitely going back and try their...
Read moreThe food at Mariscos El Navegante was fantastic! The seafood is prepared with fresh, bold flavors and unique Mexican seasonings—everything we tried was full of vibrant taste. The food was absolutely worth the price—it’s clear they use fresh ingredients and put effort into their dishes. However, the service left a bit to be desired. We visited about an hour before closing, and it seemed like the staff was more focused on their closing duties than attending to the customers in the restaurant. I had an empty drink cup for most of my meal and had to wave someone down to get a refill. I get that they were trying to wrap up, but it made the experience less enjoyable. I’d still go back for the food, though—it...
