Having tried more than a few locations. I have found Panda Express to be a pretty consistent restaurant chain. You can rely on the taste and quality of ingredients in their dishes. That being said, the thing that will make one restaurant in a chain stand out over another, is the service. My last visit to this location looked as if any chance of a positive service related experience was an impossibility. There were cars around the entire building and a line encircling the interior of the restaurant. The imagined wait times alone would normally stifle any urge I might have for Panda Express or any other restaurant for that matter. However on this occasion I was sent by my wife and youngest daughter. Oh the trials and tribulations I would endure, rather than suffer the wounded looks of deprivation that awaited an unsuccessful trip to Panda's. I therefore undertook the task of addressing my childishly unrelenting boredom while waiting in line to order. Ordinarily this would involve an electronic device of some sort. Instead I was distracted by the staff working behind the counter. The person I assume was a manager in particular. As I said, there were a lot of people ordering food. Between the drive through and the line inside, I expected a very long wait. The staff just kept on trucking. No stress, no bad attitudes, no dangerous rushing. The manager was bilingual, working faster than anyone, and very professional. All while being very kind and engaging to the customers. I ordered and had my food for three in less than 15 minutes. That is normally a very long wait to me. In this instance, it was a miracle. Not only does this place have the usual tasty Panda Express food. It also has one of the best fast food crews I have ever seen. Bravo to Panda Express in Yuma, AZ. on B Ave. and 24th st., the general manager, the managers, and all the employees at this location!
Also, my apologies to the same as I will be trying to lure that manager away with a job offer. She can...
Read more9/27/17 There was a costumer trying to park in the the parking lot and they hit the concrete stopper. So when the customer try to back up to see the damage to the vehicle, the concrete stopper came out of the ground and damaged the bottom part of the vehicle. Not one of the employees went out there to help or was even slightly concerned as to what was going on outside in your own parking lot. The manager was even told about the incident and they did nothing about it!
10/07/17 Revisit: all of the trash cans, both inside and out, were full of trash. During the whole visit not once were any of the trash receptacles taken out! The employees were made aware about it not by one, but by five different customers that were eating. There in the whole 45-minute visit, not once were any of the trash receptacles taken out! Even the manager was aware of the situation and yet they did nothing about it. This is the second time within two weeks at the staff at this establishment cares nothing about the customers or their own store. To make things worse, they never seem to smile or never seem to have a good day when even greeting you or attending to you...
Read moreWhere is management? The food I purchased today was of subpar quality and disgusting. The chicken was soggy and burnt, while the chow-mein was greasy, slimy and overcooked. The cabbage and celery were excessively soggy, resembling mush. This is not an isolated incident, as evidenced by other negative reviews suggesting a recurring issue. Is management absent or simply incompetent? Who is overseeing the cooks to ensure proper food preparation? It appears that there is a complete lack of quality control measures in place. Based on the subpar quality of the food, it seems that the restaurant is run by a group of teenagers who lack the necessary attention to detail and care. This impression is reinforced by the overall poor quality of the food. As a fast food chain, Panda already falls short of expectations, and it is concerning that its employees and cooks are not meeting even the basic...
