Starbucks is honestly the worst run business of its kind in the country from a consumer standpoint. Considering the fact that they have an annual profit of about $25 Billion, that's really saying something and what it's saying is, they don't care about their customers.
Rather than stand behind their store manager when the Philadelphia incident occurred, CEO Howard Schultz threw her under the woke bus and issued a public proclamation inviting non customers to loiter in their stores, yes, seriously.
The result, as expected, was homeless people loitering in their stores. And this came in the form of harassment of paying customers (remember us?), bathing in the restrooms, and literally camping out in stores.
Couldn't they have just initially upheld their policy of requiring purchase in order to enjoy complimentary amenities like every other eatery on Earth?
They could have, but instead, they kowtowed to the woke outrage mob, and now paying customers (remember us?) are paying for it in the form of heavily throttled wifi, heavily throttled water pressure in bathroom sinks, reduced access to AC power outlets, reduced seating, and bizarro, inconvenient policies regarding store security.
I've been patronizing Starbucks stores all over the country for 20 years, and trust me, dine-in customer experience has changed...
Read moreI was hoping since they redid the place that might mean better service. Unfortunately not the case. They do deal with a lot of people and I don't envy what they have to deal with on a regular basis. I hate complaining because I know as service workers they deal with a lot. That said I do think they would deal with less drinks going back if they noticed certain choices made on drinks. Like half the time we get an espresso drink it's just a coffee frappe instead of the espresso (which costs more). Or if we say no whip, we will still get whip. The most common problem though is the Carmel. For example anytime my mom gets her Carmel drink she requests extra Carmel drizzle and to line the cup with it. She purposely chooses both options to show she wants a lot. She also pays for the Carmel she is requesting. Yet 9 times out of 10 her drink might have the bare minimum of Carmel put in. It can get frustrating to pay almost 9-10 dollars for a drink and it's almost always wrong. Even when we've gone back for a new one we still end up with the bare minimum. So only order from this one if you don't care about those choices...
Read moreCOMPLAINT ABOUT STORE MANAGER SARAH CRESON!
My mother had a horrible experience with the store manager who I will name so that everyone who comes to this location is aware of who runs this Starbucks and what to expect . She is extremely rude and disrespectful as well as discriminating against to her customers. My mother came in to have her coffee exchanged since her original was not made right and the manager flat out told her no and that she can do whatever she wants and proceeded to embarrass her infront of the customers and employees. DONT COME HERE!!! SARAH CRESON has no customer service skills…..go to Dutch bros instead. Will not be coming here again.
Horrible experience. Store manager Sarah Creson should not be in the position that she is and needs to be spoken to so this does not happen in the future. If customer service is not a skill she inhibits then she should...
