Wendy’s – 32nd Street, Yuma, AZ Date/Time: June 7, 2025, at approximately 9:00 PM
I placed a mobile order through the Wendy’s app roughly 20 minutes prior to arriving at the location. The app provided only two fulfillment options: carry-out or drive-thru. Upon arrival, I noticed that the drive-thru had a line of approximately five vehicles. I also observed two parking spots marked for mobile order pickup, which led me to park and notify staff that I was there to pick up my order.
When I spoke with a female employee, she informed me that all mobile orders must go through the drive-thru. I asked about the designated mobile pickup spots, and she explained that those are only used after checking in at the drive-thru. She added that if the order is not yet ready, customers are instructed to park in those spaces to wait. Despite this policy, she offered to assist me directly and took my order information.
I proceeded to wait inside the restaurant for approximately 25 minutes. During that time, several drive-thru customers who arrived after me received their orders, while I continued waiting without any updates—despite there being no dine-in customers at that time. Feeling ignored and frustrated, I ultimately asked for the order to be canceled and left without my food. The employee appeared surprised, though I couldn’t tell whether this was genuine or simply unexpected.
This incident is not an isolated experience. On several prior visits, I have been asked to park and wait after ordering through the drive-thru, which undermines the purpose of offering drive-thru convenience. From a customer perspective, mobile ordering and drive-thru service should prioritize efficiency and clarity—not create confusion or unnecessary delays due to internal metrics or processes.
I hope this feedback helps improve the customer experience at...

When Wendy's serves their food fresh and hot, it is very good; however, most of the time, 8/10 times, the food is not hot and fresh. I'm referring mostly to the fries. When they are hot they are very good; but, when they're not freshly hot, they are terrible and then I don't want to go back. Unfortunately, this is the experience most of the time. I would rather they not give me any fries over the old limpy, gross ones.
Most of the time I do really like the burgers. They are the best fast food burgers most of the time. Burger King is a close second. My last burger at Wendy's wasn't so good though. I was served a "chili meat" patty. That means it's very "well done" and supposed to be used for the Chili meat.
Also, a special negative comment about the Wendy's at 8007 E 32nd St. in Yuma, Arizona. My 85 year old father-in-law went in that location to order his lunch and he was told he had to use the self service computer. When he told them he didn't know how, he was told he had to figure it out and that they could not take his order.
This was a few months back, around spring of 2022, so, it wasn't in the depths of covid. This was the only place he's gone to that would not help him or take his order. Needless to say, he does not ever want to go back there, and of course he did not oder anything that day either. Very disappointing that they would not take an order from an 85...
Read more2 week's ago I was in the drive thru and a young female employee as I gave her my credit card to pay asked me " would you like to purchase a boo book for $1"I said absolutely and got about 8 of them. Today I took my kids to redeem them and let me tell you that it is very disappointing that the young Hispanic Manager and an employee told my kids to go use the kiosk. My children explained that they had coupons and then the employees said they need to use them in the drive thru . Now my children don't drive and they are ages 10, 14, 16. I was super upset and went to talk to the manage. Then I had 2 managers tell me they don't sale coupons and they didn't know what I was talking about. They refused to give me a name and said, " our names are none of your concern". I was very upset and the short Hispanic Manager told me " what an example are you giving your children" the example that they need to stand up for themselves and not let anyone treat them wrong and specially if they paid for something and getting nothing in return. So un professional to not use a name tag , say that the business is private and his name is not my concern. A manager should know the promotions given and specially if boo book is sold give the kids the free...
