Horrible experience! As usual. . .I knew better than to come here! I should have gone to Baker or Central! That is what I usually do, even though I live only 2 blocks from the Zachary Mcdonald's. It is worth the drive to go elsewhere! Trust me! The inside of resturaunt is ALWAYS filthy & disgusting, with food, drink, & trash all over the floor, the drink machine area, & the booths, tables, & chairs! I have NEVER eaten inside without having to wipe down & clean an area for me to sit & eat at!!! The drive thru line is always backed up all the way down the main road, literally stopping traffic! They installed a 2nd drive thru line, but that does no good when the employees still don't do their jobs in a professional & timely manner! They will take a customers order, but then they will fix an employee a meal, & give it to them first, while making the paying customer wait! I have watched employees dig french fries out with their bare hands, & stand there stuffing their faces like its their own personal food troff!!! I have watched employees drop food on the floor & then serve it to CHILDREN!!! I have watched a man wait over 30min for only a small french fry; & he never got it! He got his money back instead! I have watched employees curse & flip off other employees, right infront of customers & their children! The employees are ALWAYS goofing off! They do not know how to act nor talk professionally! They scream, holler, & shout their conversations with one another! And that is so aggravating! I do NOT want to hear about Shenika's brothers cousins best friends baby mama drama!!! I do NOT care about their ridiculous personal lives; & Im sure others don't care either! I don't know why they think they have to be heard by everyone! All I care about is getting my food in a professional timely manner, with the correct order! But unfortunately, Zachary Mcdonald's employees are incapable of do such! And another sad fact is that the managers are just as bad as the immature employees; if not worse! They hire managers that need constant managing themselves!!!! . . .And even when they have no customers, they still don't do anything! All they do is scream & holler, & just stands around with their thumbs up their ass's! Another major issue i have become greatly aware of in regards to the Zachary location, is racism! Their employees are 95% African American! And they treat the very very few white employees with such disrespect & hate! And they make it so obvious! They treat their white customers with the same disrespect! A white man orders a dollar burger. Then a black man comes in a few minutes later, & he orders the same exact dollar burger as the white man had ordered a few minutes before him. But the employees will give the black man his order first; even though it was meant for the white man who ordered the same thing a few minutes before the black man!!! They will literally put the white mans order on "the back burner", & make him wait even , so that they can serve the black man first! So sickening!!! Zachary Mcdonald's only hires lazy, rude, racists, black "want to be thugs"! I highly doubt that hardly any of their employees could pass a random drug test! Their employees are constantly buying & selling drugs in the parking lot! And if I can see it, I know the managers can too. But yet, they do nothing! . . .Bottom line: Zachary Mcdonald's is the WORST fast food resturaunt in Zachary!!! I swear that they get their employees from a bunch of halfway houses or something!!! I hold more respect for a dog, than I do Zachary Mcdonald's & their pathetic employees! Whoever is over the hiring & firing needs to be fired themselves! Read moreThis place deserves 0 stars. But too bad that’s not an option. I went through the drive-thru on Wednesday night (at the Zachary location to be exact); it was just before 6:00. I pulled into the line to the far right side and waited. There was a car sitting at the menu board and one other car ahead of me. The right lane was noticeably moving extremely slow for reasons unknown. Once I made it to the menu board, I just sat there, while multiple cars pulled into the left lane and had their orders taken. After waiting and not moving for several minutes, I blew my horn. Someone finally responded to take my order. Needless to say, I was frustrated. So, my first thought was to inform the order taker about how long I had waited and her response to me was that I could leave if I was tired of waiting. So, I make it to the window and ask for the manager and was greeted by a young white female (the manager). Anyway, I explained my frustration to her, while repeating to her, what the order taker had said to me, pointing out her rudeness. To my surprise and dismay, she was eager to inform me that it was her who made the rude comment because she didn’t like my “attitude.” Well, if that’s what managers and customer service amounts to nowadays, then what was once known as fast, accurate and friendly customer service no longer holds true.
