Pat and I stopped in here for lunch one day. We had noticed that it had changed proprietors again. We were extremely pleased. The place is very clean, brighter than in the past. The menus were brightly constructed with tabs on the right of each page to make it really easy to flip through. The menus went made so that they could easily be sanitized without detriment to them. The waitress was quite pleasant, offered menu choices and explained what we should expect. The food itself arrived quickly and the presentation was attractive. We both enjoyed our selections and had a lot to take home even though these were lunch portions. We weren’t planning on ordering a Margarita but decided to just to know what they were like. We don’t bother to buy them elsewhere in Zanesville due to the disappointment when we do. This one was very good. Not that we often get alcoholic drinks when we dine out because any drink is overpriced and usually not what one makes at home. Overall our dining experience was terrific and we will be bringing our...
Read moreThe directions to the place are wrong. Not too off, but you will see it when you pull up near it. First greeted by a friendly hostess that sat us down to eat immediately. It was a Sunday evening so not awfully busy in the restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant was typical of american-mexican restaurants. Big bright and colorful booths with art depicted. It only took a couple of minutes before we were greeted by our waiter after being seated. He may have been new, but seemed a bit awkward when we did our ordering. I'm used to warm tortilla chips in these restaurants, and the ones that were provided here were a bit on the cold side. Also the queso that we had ordered for the table was already thick and starting to get cold when it got to the table. The food arrived within about 7 minutes of ordering. The food itself was quite good, and tasted authentic to Mexican food. Be careful of the plates, they arrive really hot. Overall, this is an excellent place to try and they have numerous specials and lunch specials that...
Read moreI live 3 minutes from this place and wish I would of known it existed a long time ago. Today I went there for lunch. When you walk in the atmosphere is a laid back Mexican essence with a small party feel with the music playing. The servers are extremely polite and very attentive. The prices are a little on the higher side but the food is freshly made (owner confirmed it) daily. Most is made fresh on the spot never frozen, and the portion size makes up for the price of the meal. When the servers make their rounds to ensure everything is good and no one needs anything they wait for everyone at the table to respond. They also will not let your glass get past half full without bringing you a full glass or if you are drinking an adult beverage they will ask if you would like more. I urge everyone to try this small town Mexican restaurant. I can almost guarantee you will not be...
