Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Zimmerman

As a regular customer who’s always had GREAT service … tonight was not it. And clearly it bothered me because of how it was handled. Put an order in at 9:50pm for delivery. Called the store at 10:15 because the tracker said the delivery driver left at 10, but the tracker was no longer working - I just wanted to know what was taking so long because I don’t like far from the store. The person (I’m assuming manager) said the delivery driver working is known to not have a car charger and her phone was probably dead and that’s why the tracker was off. I said that was fine. Delivery driver called me back at 10:21 and said she would be there in 5 minutes and asked if she should go to the main door to the building or my door specifically. I said the main door. I got a call at 10:30 that I missed because I have my phone on silent. Then I receive a voicemail stating that my order was being canceled because we didn’t answer. Well didn’t answer what? My phone? It’s an apartment, I said to go to the door. There are doorbells. For each individual apartment. Instead of canceling my order and driving back to the store maybe ring the door bell which is clearly stated in the delivery address? Should I not assume that it’s known for delivery drivers to ring doorbells or do they call your phone now instead? On top of that why did it take 30 minutes from when you left the store at 10PM and didn’t I didn’t receive the call that I missed until 10:30PM? I normally wouldn’t leave a review, but this was just ridiculous. I drove to the store to get my pizza, which was cold by the way initially because again the delivery driver left at 10 and didn’t call to say she was here...

I order from here just about weekly. 5 star service always....If you order online and they happen to not burn your pizza this time. It's hit or miss, however, usually over done. Having to call and speak to someone is a nightmare. Everything is inconvenient for them. I am currently waiting for my order as I type this review. I made a mistake when placing my online order (I wanted one of the pizzas square cut for my daycare kids -not a huge deal, there was an option online). The guy that answered the phone seemed extremely irritated by my request. His response- "I can't guarantee that we have like 50 orders in front of us." Really? Maybe this certain person shouldn't be working during the busy lunch rush. Smh..... Their deliver driver however, is awesome. The daycare kids just love him and are always super excited to see him. He talks with them and makes them laugh. He doesn't have to do that, but he does anyway to put a smile...

We ordered from Zimmerman domino's on 6-24-17 within 1 hr of eating from there I was in Princeton hospital with food poisoning as was my 4 year old & husband! It hit so damn fast I couldn't take the pain my body was in from it! I've never had food poisoning before so I thought maybe it didn't agree with me.... but 3 a.m. comes & to the e.r we went! Yup, food poisoning! Never again will I eat at this one! I've had bad food before from there but this did it 100% ish! Just take the drive and go to pizza ranch & if you weather actually watched this domino's make your pizza or w.e. I've seen numerous employees wear no gloves, I've seen very neglected workers at this location! Lost my business 100% & I will tell everybody that I got food poisoning from this location also confirmed by a doctor that what it was! Felt great til we ate this!...
