We took a while looking for a decent Korean bbq restaurant in Da Nang (there seems to be quite a few!) but Gogubnam was one of the few with no food poisoning reviews we could find so we decided to give it a go! Meats we ordered were fresh and there was a decent amount of ban chan served, unlimited as it should be of course. Drinks were reasonably priced as was most of the food as well. The staff did most of the bbq for us on another table which we actually appreciated as it kept smoke away from us. We also noticed the staff were very friendly with each other, tickling each other on the floor but although it appeared a bit unprofessional we still got served well so not really complaining about that, just interesting to observe. Great Korean BBQ place in Da Nang - tasted just like what we've had in Seoul. The beef rib and pork belly were both excellent, and the kinchi and selection of banchan were also nice. Alcohol was also reasonably priced, unlike at many Korean restaurants in North America. However, the best part of the restaurant was the high level of service. The impressive wait staff speak Vietnamese, Korean, and English. Our waiter was extremely friendly and helpful, and grilled to food for us perfectly.
