Hanmaeum Korea BBQ in Da Nang is the kind of spot where you walk in and immediately know you’re in for a feast. The sizzling sound of meat hitting the grill fills the air, blending with the rich, smoky aroma of Korean marinades. The space is lively but organized, with tables perfectly set up for grilling right at your seat—ideal for both casual dinners and big group gatherings.
The menu covers all the Korean BBQ essentials, but the real highlight here is the quality of the meat. Cuts arrive beautifully marbled and neatly prepared, from juicy pork belly to tender beef short ribs, all fresh and full of flavor. Side dishes (banchan) are generous, varied, and constantly replenished—think kimchi with the right amount of tang, crispy seaweed, and pickled radish that cuts through the richness of the meat.
Service is quick, friendly, and attentive. Staff are always ready to help with grilling or explain each cut for first-time visitors. Prices are reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes, making it easy to order a spread without worrying about the bill creeping up.
If you’re in Da Nang and craving an authentic Korean BBQ experience—complete with smoky grills, endless banchan, and meats worth lingering over—Hanmaeum delivers every time. I’ll be back for another round of pork belly and kimchi wraps...
Read moreThis was my first time entering a Korean BBQ restaurant. It ended up being a very pleasant surprise. I'll definitely go again. The staff were very friendly and helpful to a first timer. We ended up choosing the half Beef - refer to images. They have QR code PDF menus in many languages. The 1/2 beef ended up being too much for us. It's a meal for 2 or 3 adults.
The staff helped to cook the meat and explained the assembly process - the variety of fillings was impressive. There was also kimchi soup, salads and a rather spicy noodle dish. I'd recommend trying a small amount first. The noodles were surprisingly spicy.
I try to avoid alcohol, but a beer would go really well with Korean food. The beef is imported from America and the pork is from Korea. The meal was fresh and some of the fillings were new to us . A lot of the guests were Korean so I'm guessing it's...
Read moreI did not order the grilled meat for lunch so I guess I didn’t try their speciality dishes. The panchan was good. However, the service staff seemed to be new or inexperienced. I went for late lunch after 1.30pm and there was only 1 table of customer and 4 serving staff. Waited 20 mins but only my son’s rice was served. Then, they told me they do not have the sauce for my pork dish. This is fine but strange that they took so long to realise. Then, I have to wait for another 10-15 mins when my son was done eating and waiting for me. I was already very hungry by then and the communication was not clear on when will my dish be served. The staff were apologetic and nice but it was a less than satisfactory experience due to the long waiting time for my dish at...
