Redcrab Danang & Tuyvi seafood — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

Came here based on the stellar reviews and because a friend recommended it, for what we paid it was definitely not worth the visit.

A small space, but couldn’t find anyone to take our order. But everyone was serving the parties that were already eating. At a point there was a server who was cleaning the table behind us, and the other server told her to serve us and she still didn’t. We were the only POC there and not sure if that had anything to do with it but it sure felt like it did. Took around 20 mins for anyone to even come to our table, had to flag them down pretty aggressively to get their attention.

For the food, we bought two crabs (black pepper and chilli) and fried rice. Total was around 100 CAD. Food was good but definitely not worth the price, especially considering the service.

Went for dinner, to try crab. It wasn't crowded at all. Saw the menu choices are crab, lobster and shrimps. I pointed out for crab dish and the waiter said it's going to take a while to prepare, 30 minutes or so. Didn't feel like waiting that long by myself, so second choice was lobster and the waiter said it's will be done in 5, 10 minutes. Went for lobster, it did come out in about 5, 6 minutes,. It was served in metal square pan presume it's hot , right? Well, it wasn't hot at all , it was just little warm. You know what , it was already precooked food, the meat was dry and small. Overall the place and food is good. Order the garlic butter crab and morning glory with clams. Portion is sufficient for 2. The crab is less than 1 kg ( about 700g) was sufficient for 1 person and it was fresh. The morning glory was done just right and was crunchy, but find it a bit too sweet to our taste. Would prefer it to be savoury. Many of the clams were not suitable to be eaten as it is still closed after being cooked.
