Good Food at good price.
There were plenty of staff which are mostly quite young. Ushered us in upon entrance to the place and we were even able to choose another seat as its started to get crowded during dinner.
Although the staff speaks basic English, they were attentive and very good at letting know what was good. Definitely no hard selling here which is very good.
Food was fresh and served quite fast. They helped clean the table fast and also provided disposable gloves as we transit into Food that require us to use our hands. Topped up the sauces we had regularly.
Lots of locals eating here, don't see any foreigners here. Many of them come after work with colleague for a good catch up meal or celebration. Large TV screening soccer and the roof was able to open up to the sky for ventilation.
Definitely a must try for seafood when you're in...
Read moreDelicious seafood! The mantis shrimp were cooked in some tasty garlic sauce. Service was good, with a waiter assigned to us. But maybe it was because we came after 9 pm. He de-shelled the shrimp before serving them. The grilled tiger fish was done butterfly style and the meat was still tender when served. We had scallops cooked 2 ways. The cheesy scallops were cheesy but light enough to be moreish. The Chinese style one was decent. Each dish came with its own dipping sauce. We also had stir-fried morning glory, which was decent too. Don't order the fried rice. The fried rice was meh. Just eat the...
Read moreA large seafood restaurant popular with local residents. The food is OK - our king prawns needed sending back as they weren't thoroughly cooked through when first brought to the table and were still very salty from being cooked in over salted water. The greatest disappointment was that both the clams and the king prawns were served in a lemongrass dressing despite being ordered at the same time. I would've hoped one would be cooked in a different fashion, perhaps with chili and garlic. Reasonable prices though. 0.5kg king prawns, the same of clams and stir-fry morning glory with 3 larue beers...
