It was an interesting place to visit. I live in Da Nang for over 6 months and have been to many local places.
First of all food was nothing special or very mediocre comparing to other local places where same meals taste delicious and cost half the price.
The woman who served me was super nice, very kind and tried to sell me some drinks which I refused.
There is no free herbal tea also which you can find in all small local restaurants. There is a free water to drink.
I sat there cos I noticed that local Vietnamese person paid only 30k right in front of me! It was easy to spot cos man gave a note of 50 and lady gave him back 20k.
There is no other meal in menu then french fries that costs less then 50k.and the person was eating a bawl meal not french fries.
After that I decided to sit longer and observe how much other locals were charged and indeed they paid with cash and paid again 30k/ meal.
I have seen many scams in this country! Hats down for the ladies being so smart for their menu prices are only for foreigners.
Plenty of other delicious places where you can eat for a normal price of 20-30k and ppl don't scam you. Quality - Price = 0 in this place. I am really surprised how this place can have a such high rating I guess many ppl who go there didn't try other local places which...
Read moreOH MY GOD! What did I just eat. Correction, am still eating. Felt compelled to post this in the middle of my meal as it was so good!
Had the vegetarian Pho (without mushrooms). The broth was hot and extremely fragrant. It came alive with a short squeeze of lime! The flat rice Noodles, veggies and mock meat felt lighter than a feather. Each bite/spoonful was perfection. Perfect for the rainy day we have been having in Da Nang.
Had the Banh Mi next. The bread was piping hot, crumbly, and extremely fresh. Each bite melted in my mouth. The stuffing was generous with some mock meat/tofu, greens and cucumbers. What a revelation this was!
Finished it off with some spring Rolls. I was so full that I requested if she could make me 3 instead of the usual 6. Hot, slightly greasy, and melt in mouth. Chilli oil absolutely not needed.
Thank you Google Maps and Thank you Happy Cow for this stellar recommendation. If you're vegetarian/vegan, do not hesitate for a second! Get yourself here stat and make your Vietnam experience a memorable one. You don't have to trust me. Take a leap of faith and prepare to...
Read moreYou MUST visit Passionate heart if you are in Da Nang. This place literally made my stay in the city and I would definitely go back if I’m ever in Vietnam again.
They have the best vegetarian local food which was so delicious and at a great price. I really enjoyed trying Quang noodles.
But the best part was how nice people there are. Quyen the owner was so friendly and chatty, she gave me loads of recommendations of what to do around Da Nang. Both her and the chef Hai are very sweet and every month cook loads of food to give out for free for those in need.
They get lots of others who also come throughout the day and help in these monthly cook ups.
Quyen and her friends even took me to see the lady Buddha, we had a great time and she is genuinely a very...
