A Must-Visit for Muslim Travelers in Da Nang! As a Muslim traveler, finding halal food can sometimes be a challenge, but this restaurant in Da Nang completely exceeded my expectations! It's an absolute gem, offering a fantastic variety of halal dishes, including Vietnamese classics like spring rolls and beef pho, alongside delicious Peranakan cuisine.
The restaurant itself is clean and spacious, making it perfect for families or large groups. What truly sets this place apart, though, is its dedication to Muslim patrons. They provide a large prayer room (musholla), and even host Friday congregational prayers (sholat jumat), which is incredibly convenient and thoughtful.
Beyond being halal, the food here is genuinely delicious. I ordered the Nasi Goreng Kampung and the Chicken Curry with Prata. The Nasi Goreng was exceptional – smoky, with a crispy texture, and incredibly savory. It was so good that I ordered it again the next day for delivery via WhatsApp! The delivery service was smooth, and I could pay with cash directly to the driver, which was very helpful.
I highly recommend this restaurant to all Muslim travelers visiting Da Nang. It's a true blessing to have such a wonderful and accommodating establishment, and I sincerely hope it continues to thrive and cater to the needs of the Muslim community in Da...
Read moreWe had a really disappointing experience at Karim Restaurant. We wanted to order just one set meal and add a few extra dishes from the menu, but the staff insisted that each person must order a set for 250,000 VND. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the menu, which made it even more frustrating.
I don’t eat much, so it made no sense for me to get a full set. My friend was the only one who wanted the set, and I just planned to order something light. In the end, I only had a bowl of beef noodles and a teh tarik—both of which were overpriced and not worth it. I had already lost my appetite from the poor service and confusing rules.
Feels like they take advantage of the limited halal food options in the area by charging more. Definitely not worth it. I will never come back and wouldn’t recommend this...
Read moreOne of my top favourite places in Da Nang. A place for my Muslim community. Either in the restaurant below that has great selection of food, dishes and meals that are halal with the warm and welcoming service therein or the praying space, Musala, above where there's a space for men and a private one for women. It's a small space but it does the work, it includes you, reminds of the mosque vibes. They pray all five prayers and Jumuah. There are good people, young men who run the place may Allah bless them. There are also Quran books, in Arabic, in English and in Vietnamese language too. I have met many interesting people here and I wait for me in chaa Allah. I absolutely recommend the restaurant and the service it gives (the food is really so delicious) and Musala for anyone looking for...
