For a bar, I found it surprisingly noisy, with everyone talking loudly over blasting, almost disturbing music. It would have been nice to enjoy a chill drink here, but that felt nearly impossible. The place was packed, with people squeezed into a tiny space, making it hard to walk without bumping into someone. If you want a good view of the Dragon Bridge, I suggest arriving early, around 7 PM.
The menu offers a nice variety of drinks and finger foods, which was a plus. I ordered spring rolls and a margarita. The spring rolls were below average—honestly, you could find better ones at a sidewalk stall. The margarita was acceptable but nothing exceptional.
Service was another letdown. When I entered, all the staff were busy, and I had to call out several times before finally being redirected three times to someone who showed me to a vacant seat—the worst one possible, right next to the WC. Pricing felt a bit above average for drinks, and I’m not sure it offered good value for money.
In terms of amenities, there were no table napkins, and I had to specifically ask for chopsticks, which felt odd. When they brought me a broken pair, they did replace it quickly, but it left an impression. On the positive side, the bar is easy to find, located within walking distance from the Dragon Bridge with clear signage outside, and it’s accessible on Grab.
Overall, the experience was just okay. Honestly, I regret choosing this spot to spend my last weekend in Da Nang. I really hope they consider limiting the number of guests and transforming it into more of a speakeasy-style bar. It’s a shame because this place has so...
Read moreWe visited Dragon Ball Bar to watch the Dragon Bridge fire show, which has a brilliant view from here. Unfortunately, the overall service and food were very disappointing.
We started by ordering two drinks and asked for glasses with ice. The drinks came, but the glasses didn’t. After waiting about 5 minutes, we had to ask again, and it still took another 5 minutes before they arrived.
Next, we ordered garlic bread and fried rice (80k each). The fried rice looked and tasted okay, but the garlic bread was very underwhelming — squashed, with no garlic flavor at all. When we mentioned this to a staff member, their response was confusing and unhelpful, simply saying “I’m not the chef,” rather than offering a solution. They then took the food away without explanation, so we decided to cancel it entirely.
The view of the fire show is excellent and definitely the highlight of this place, but the food quality and staff service left a lot to be desired. Sadly, it was a disappointing...
Read moreThe whole overall experience was great Asian show - went on a Friday and arrived at 7.15pm to ensure we had good seats - we should have arrived at 8.30pm- suggest go do dinner first somewhere else - they only have basic vegetarian menu that was terrible - staff was nice but … bought a warm beer .. made up for it by bringing a ice bucket .. forgot our order of a pizza that wouldn’t feed a 2 year old … bill was incorrect which caused unnecessary tension - we were trying to pay for six drinks when they were charging us for four - go figure- a 9 minute show- the only positive was beautiful uninterrupted view - sub par experience overall- management would do welll if they got some hospitality training as they are catering for tourists - apologise for leaving this honest review - the experience could be so much better given the excellent viewing - staff training and decent nibbles menu would make a difference- no lift up 3...
