Entered this restaurant because we saw they serve Korean Fried Chicken with beer. Chimaek. Given that Da Nang is so highly populated with Korean tourists, we were expecting better food.
Firstly, ordering Korean Fried Chicken there were 3 flavors, original, Yang Nyeom (spicy) or Gan Jang (soy sauce). We ordered Gan Jang and got a free beer with this. This was 299K VND. Total of 4 pcs.
The chicken was super not fresh, all black inside the drumstick. I did not take a picture of the horror and told the staff the chicken was bad. Other than the chicken itself, the batter was not sticking to the chicken, not a good cook myself, I’m not sure why but it’s unusual. Definitely not supposed to be like this even for a normal fried chicken. The sauce was also super watery, just not the way it should be with normal Korean Fried Chicken. She was kind enough to change the whole plate out.
Next, we told her to change it to original instead because we were not confident how the fried chicken will turn out. Same thing, it was bad. The whole batter could come off the chicken breast. We only ate 2/4 and left.
Maybe kimchi fried rice is better? Nope…it’s the Kimchi Fried rice colour but not the taste….

Read moreThe greasy-haired waiter (who appeared to be quite senior) was a bit talkative. While he seemed enthusiastic and welcoming, his confident instructions about how to eat came across as rather rude. He was preoccupied with his own concerns, disregarding the guests' feelings and coming off as somewhat self-important. He even humorously instructed the male waiter on how to assist the female waiter and correct the customer's English pronunciation, which I found quite disrespectful and suggests this restaurant's front-office service needs improvement.
The food itself was average, not particularly delicious, but extremely expensive. The Korean fried chicken wasn't crispy enough, and the batter wasn't evenly coated, tasting like it had been frozen and then defrosted. The seafood ramen lacked any seafood, and the broth was mediocre.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It's a shame to spend so much money to be treated this way. Besides the mediocre food, the service was also so poor. It was truly...

We ordered the Korean Yangnyeom Fried Chicken. Order was generous with four large pieces but it was not newly fried so a bit tough to chew. Order a freshly cooked plate next time.
