Patisserie de Lux — Restaurant in Đà Nẵng

Everything is great. I loved the interior, looks so vintage and fancy🥰 but of course, the stars are the pastries. I tried only croissants and they are all so good! I’ve tried strawberry cheesecake big croissant - it’s delicious and crunchy but there is no filling inside. Instead, you get a sauce-kinda container with strawberry jam (with actual strawberries) and cream cheese (very very good cream cheese). So you just dip your croissant in that and it’s delicious! And the amount of this is bigger than what we would get initially if it’s inside the croissant I think. 10/10 Next I tried 4 different kinds of small croissants (88.000 for the box of 4). Salted egg black croissant is great, the taste is not exactly how salted egg tastes in coffee or cacao but it’s really good. 9/10 Matcha cookie one was amazing too. It had cookie on the top and inside the croissant. 9/10 Matcha croissant was good too, but with cookie it just tastes a bit better 8/10. P.s. the matcha they use is a good quality and you can feel it straight away, I’ve tried so many desserts with matcha but these ones tasted just like real matcha And the last one was choc chip cookie croissant which was also great and tasty, again it had cookie inside and on the top which is really cool. 10/10

Came for entremets, didn't feel disappointed, but they didn't wow me either.

For dine-in, I ordered Material Girl and Cherry Cherry Lady. Out of the two, Material Girl stood out more in terms of flavours, texture and mouthfeel, however there were some seeds in the guava compote. The jelly glaze on Chery Chery Lady had very little flavour, almost tasteless to be honest. Both of them were not overly sweet, which is a plus.

I also got 2 pastries for takeout, which my partner said were amazingly good.

Staff were polite, attentive and informative. They made a mistake with my order, but quickly corrected and returned my change.

As for the atmosphere, this place is loaded with influencer wannabes, so be prepared to not get annoyed if girls ask you to move out of their photos.

One thing I didn't enjoy though, seems like they tried to save electricity, so ACs were on higher temp, which was unbearable considering Da Nang's hot and...

The cafe itself is cute, everything is clean including the bathroom. The staff are doing their job properly and they’re polite. However the pastries were disappointing for the price charged. I mean they’re cute and all but there’s really nothing special. When they say “butter cream”, you struggle to find any butter taste in it. I got some coconut pastry but it didn’t really taste like coconut… Same for my friend with her cherry pastry. The coffee was good, though.
