"A Culinary Gem by the Beach – A Must-Visit for Every Traveler!"
Dining at Saffron by the Beach in Da Nang was an extraordinary experience that transported us straight to the heart of India. From the first bite to the last sip, this restaurant felt like a home away from home, offering authentic Indian flavors infused with the warmth of incredible hospitality.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the magical creations of Chef Sumit and his talented team. They have mastered the art of bringing Indian cuisine to life, making every dish a delightful symphony of flavors. The Bihari Chicken Tikka was an absolute showstopper—succulent, smoky, and seasoned to perfection. It was a dish that not only pleased the palate but also evoked a sense of nostalgia for authentic Indian street flavors.
We also tried the Kadai Chicken, Rara Paneer, and the comforting Daal, all paired with freshly made Tandoori Rotis that were soft, warm, and divine. Each dish was crafted with such precision and love that it truly felt like dining back in India. To top it all off, the tea was the perfect end to our meal, aromatic and refreshing, just like home.
The ambiance of Saffron by the Beach adds to its charm—a cozy setting with a view of the serene beach, making it an ideal spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience.
Saffron by the Beach isn’t just a restaurant; it’s a celebration of Indian cuisine and hospitality. Chef Sumit and his team deserve every bit of applause for the magic they create on the plate. For anyone visiting Da Nang, this restaurant is an absolute must on your itinerary. Trust me, you’ll leave with a happy heart, a satisfied stomach, and unforgettable memories.
Thank you, Chef Sumit and the entire team incl. Shoaib, for this incredible experience. We can’t wait to...

Their aloo gobhi was better than many restaurants I have had in India! Quickly rating the food we had - Gobhi aloo - 5/5. Must have if you are looking for vegetarian Bhindi kurkuri - 5/5. Perfectly fried bhindi pakoda style. Crunchy appetizer or side dish for sure! Dal tadka - 4.5/5. Yummy dal, no nonsense. Chicken tikka masala - 5/5. Little spicy which I love but no extra oil or food color is used. Very tasty again! Bengali mach - 3.5/5. So it's pretty decent and fish was fresh, however not near to how bengali mach tastes and hence the rating. If you keep this bengali maach image out of your head, then you will like it a lot. Was perfect with plain rice! Tandoori roti - 5/5. Soft, hot, and not too...
