By far the coolest, funkiest cafe we visited in Hanoi. Actually, I’d rate it highly overall across many cafes we visited in SE Asia, mainly for the VIBE. Lovely old place, multiple storey wooden building, probably converted from apartments Some Time Ago. Dark, narrow staircases lead to rooms that have a Victorian/‘40s feel, all the furniture old -SOFAS- a big deal to find in a place that generally favours hard seating. Old dusty and broken down, rats and roaches to keep you company upstairs...and they charge 70K for an egg coffee (caphe trung) ridiculous prices for a shabby cafe.
