Pizza 4P’s Vincom Pham Ngoc Thach — Restaurant in Hà Nội

I've been to this pizza joint a few times, but this is the first time I've had to write a negative review - and it's not a good one. The service here is absolutely terrible, and that's what I'm here to talk about.

My wife and I were the first ones to arrive in the early evening, ready for some grub. The staff took our order correctly, but then we had to wait an eternity for our food to arrive. And when we finally finished our main meals, the desserts were nowhere to be found. We had to wait ages for the staff to check on our order and bring it to us. Talk about slow service - it was enough to put us to sleep!

Then, when we went to pay our bill, we had to wait even longer. And to top it all off, there was an issue with the VAT system. I tried to explain the problem to the staff, but they just told me to keep trying. I spent ages trying to get the system to work, but it just wouldn't cooperate.

The next day, I called the hotline to report the VAT issue. The staff on the phone told me that I should have claimed it on the same day as the receipt. I explained the issue with their system, but they didn't seem to care. After a few hours, one of the staff called my wife and told her that we never ate at the restaurant. Can you believe it? They couldn't even find our bill! And to make matters worse, the staff argued with us about whether or not we had eaten there. It was a complete disaster.

I found a living creatire on a dish I was served on the evening of May 18, 2025 at Pizza 4P’s – Pham Ngoc Thach, Hanoi, Vietnam

While dining, my friend and I discovered a creature (looks like a maggot) crawling on our pizza (half Burrata Ham – half Salmon Miso). The organism had the following appearance: soft, elongated cylindrical body, milky white color, smooth and glossy surface, no visible segments, no shell or hair, a few millimeters in length, no legs, and a darker-colored head. It moved by contracting and stretching its body. The sight caused us both extreme shock and nausea, and we had to immediately stop eating.

We were too surprised to take a photo, and a staff member quickly removed the dish from the table. However, the evening shift staff and chefs witnessed the incident, and I still have the bill and a record of my conversation with the manager.

The Regional Manager of Pizza 4P’s promised us that they will do the following: They will check the security cameras, conduct an internal investigation, and issue a public apology once the review is complete. (No official written document has been provided yet.) They have committed to covering all medical check-up and treatment costs related to the incident, if necessary. (Also still pending official written confirmation.)
