The scene was awesome, the crowd was awesome, and the atmosphere was awesome. However, DO NOT TAKE THE STATIONARY TAXI PARKED THERE AS THEY WILL TRY TO SCAM YOU. Please do download the app called 'grab' before you head out, it'll save you headaches and money.

If you choose to take the taxi, be mindful that even if you discussed the 'fixed Price' that your taxi driver will still try to screw you over somehow. As for my girlfriend and me, the taxi driver try to put us against each other by claiming that my girlfriend gave him 10,000 dong instead of 100,000. He only backed out when we started to get loud as we started to figure out what he was doing.

Normally, we would have been fine with tipping them 20% for their service. Moreover, it's not that much money. However, it's the poor mindset that bothered us: the feeling of getting scammed.

Rude staff. Zero stars. I wouldn’t give this one star but I have to to write this review. Woman would not let us sit outside. Would only allow us to sit inside while seating others outside. Just said no. I asked why and she just said no. Same deal with the place across the street. My friend somehow got a table outside from another staff member and someone they took his order for two beers and came back and refused service said sorry. But no. I asked why again and they just said I don’t know but no because of the lady in front. I honeslty think it was because we are white, we had to sit inside if we wonted to be served. Has anyone else experienced this? Otherwise I have no idea why they wouldn’t serve us outside. We went to Fat Cat next door and had incredible food and service with a really friendly staff. They also had good music playing that provided a nice...

Such a friendly vietnamese cafe with a great atmosphere. It is situated moments away from all the bars and clubs of the Old Quarter, and serves food and nd drinks till early hours of the morning. I mostly go for the wings and a few beers, but can also recommend their bbq! This place however definitely is not western... I'm always with local friends so ordering is never an issue, but without them I assume it could be a little difficult! Highly recommended for anyone local or anyone wanting to eat at a proper vietnamese...
