This just a genuine place to gather and chill.. Unfortunately some of the pictures on here are now out of date.. The blue beach building was destroyed in storms some years ago.. But the owner has rebuilt his business, on the street behind the beach.. And him and his team have worked hard rebuilding something that offers you the traveller, a place to sit and relax while enjoying local Vietnamese or western food like burgers as examples, all freshly prepared and cooked too order.. So whether it's a couple or a family with children, you won't go wrong here in my opinion. The owner has vision and he's not given up from the devastation of losing the beach premises.. He's used a shipping container to create a lovely kitchen area and a concrete flooring area with seating/ tables, for diners.. I can see that as time goes by, the owner will have new ideas on how to increase the size of this roadside eatery.. It's location is 5km outside town aprox 1.5km up from An Bang Beach itself.. When we visited here in May this year, the owner had sun beds on the beach around 80mtres away from the eatery itself..

And we ordered food while on the beach and it was delivered to our beds.. The coconut Rums( coconut with its milk and a shot of Rum), went down a treat.. We'll definitely return when next visiting the...

The food here is really fresh and super tasty. They also do bbq dishes which are just bursting with smokey and fresh flavours. We went here 3 times just because it was so delicious. We had the grilled scallops, which are covered with a delicious sauce with peanuts, scallions and much more and they were just perfect. Try these if you get the chance! We also tried the fried rice, the grilled squid (which super tender and was covered with a chili sauce @), the fish wrapped in banana leaf, the shrimp with lemongrass, the grilled shrimp and the grilled beef scewers (the beef had the perfect bite and had a delicious marinade). Everything is made to order and you could taste the freshness and perfect balance in all of the dishes. The staff is super friendly and tries to do their best to cater to your every need. We were laying on their lounge chairs (no charge) at the beach and they bring your food and drinks right up to you. A special mention to Nam, who walked up and down the sand dune with food and drinks all day and who has such a great energy!

This is the place to go for authentic and flavorful food! Hoi An specialty crispy fried wonton was mind blowing delicious! Shrimp and pork tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. I am looking forward to coming back for more seafood and to try their Cao Lau. Update- I went back and had their stir fry cashew shrimp. Seriously the most amazing flavorful sauce! Many very big shrimp and they were cooked perfect! I’m really picky about shrimp and rarely find a restaurant that cooks them perfect.
