Aabsolutely amazing service! We went on a weekday morning. We accidentally arrived 10 minutes before they officially opened but they still let us in and allowed us to choose our seat. The staff were so lovely and accommodating. They took our order right at opening time and we got our food shortly after.
The food was delicious! We ordered calamari to start which was perfectly crispy with a sauce for dipping. My friend ordered the roasted duck and she said it was very tender. I ordered the bún chả which was so light and refreshing with a great dipping sauce.
We were the only people there for 1 hour. We were able to enjoy the beach view and take lots of pictures without other people around. So if you want to take pictures without worrying, I suggest arriving on a week day morning when they open.
After we paid, we asked to stay around and take pictures which they kindly allowed.
Overall, wonderful staff, delicious food and great views! Highly,...
Read moreWelcome to the whimsically captivating tourist haven! Our culinary escapade kicked off with a daring plunge into the "kids sampler plater," where the term pizza took on a whole new meaning—a lone slice of toast adorned simply with cheese. Next up, a guacamole that seemed to have lost its way, morphing into a mere smashed avocado puree. My Negroni was ok. As for the shakshuka, let's just say it showcased eggs cooked to a degree of doneness that left something to be desired. The less said about the rest, the better. On the flip side, the establishment earns a gold star for its play area, which was the reason for our visit. Alas, our joy was marred by an overly enthusiastic lady, possibly part of the staff, who turned our kids' photo op into a full-blown paparazzi session. While I'm all for a viral moment on the gram, a little respect for personal space goes a long way. Hats off to the cheerful servers who kept the...
Read moreBuilding is architecturally fun and was promising, but unfortunately a bad experience from the start. The meal I wanted they no longer do but it wasn’t crossed off the menu. The food we did order was brought to the wrong table, when it eventually arrived remade the portions were small. The “scampi” was 5 prawns dipped in a tasteless, thick batter.
We went to get outta there as quick as possible and went to pay by card. As we did the power went out. We didn’t have enough cash on us so had to walk 30 minutes to the nearest ATM in the heat.
Obviously the power outage wasn’t the venues fault, but the staff ended up running around like headless chickens, just as they had been for the entirety of our time there.
I wouldn’t have minded so much if the prices weren’t much more expensive than any other venue we’ve been to in both hoi an and around an bang. If you can help it, go anywhere else on this...
