After visiting My Son till noon, we traveled 75 minutes to come to have a view of coconut boats before having lunch in Hoi An old town as planned. Because too hungry, we changed mind and had late lunch in this restaurant. There was only one guest, a western girl, and we wondered whether we found a wrong place. We felt a bit scammed by this coconut boat ride experience. Instead of taking us through the mangroves as we expected, the boat only went about 500 meters before stopping for a random spinning boat show and some crabbing. It wasn’t what we signed up for at all. Meanwhile, we saw other boat rides actually going through the mangroves, which was what we were hoping for and looked really nice. It was disappointing. I had their Seafood soup the first time and their Chicken curry and I was impressed by the large portions and it's been served in ceramic bowls.
