Quán cơm Sơn Phạm — Restaurant in Hội An

This place really hit the spot. We were looking for lunch and found this place on google.

As a family of five we ordered the: Broken Rice with Cutlet, Broken Rice with Pork Ribs, Special Broken Rice and Pho Gau (Brisket)

I got the Broken Rice Pork Ribs and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!

We all finished our plate and bowls in the matter of minutes and my brother had to get a second helping (more special broken rice)

This place is quiet away from the business of the street, open air and calm. It was a 7 min walk from our hotel but i’d say it’s worth that and more.

The owner gave us some extra roast pork but i reckon that’s because we finished the food really quickly.

We also got the Kumquat Tea and it was super sweet but refreshing!

I don’t know who the owners are but the woman who served us and the man who gave us the extra meat were super kind! Amazing service! The lady spoke minimal english but was kind and polite (even funny!)

The only downside is that i wish there was more meat! but saying that I think i need...

BE CAREFUL! This places has a “local” price and a turist price. So locals only pay 30k for your 80k Pho. Avoid if you look foreigner!

Answer: I don’t care that you are a family business or not. You Scam tourists. How dare you say that I wasn’t at your restaurant? I got this restaurant recommended by the hotel saying that I could eat by 30k-40k, and I was rather surprised when I saw prices where triple. Luckily there was a local guy next to me, and he mentioned he was having a massive bowl of Pho and the price was 30k. When I asked the lady at the counter she said “oh price differences is because turist eat more meat…”, that bowl of Pho was already HUGE. So stop lying...

We came here searching for some Com Tam in Hoi An. What a find! We had the Com Tam DAC Biết (special) with the pork rib, the grilled pork, pork belly and the rib. As well as the grilled pork Com Tam. Delicious! I really enjoyed the rice texture. The meats were all tasty but the ribs flavour in particular was a standout. They serve a sup with the meal which Is a nice broth with a small amount of veggies and sprouts. Lovely family restaurant on your way out to An Bang just off...
