We have been traveling for almost 4 weeks now and this is best value for travelling on lower budget. We've paid $28 a night for a double room, but breakfast and bikes are included. Bikes are even quite good for asian low budget travels. The ivy villa lies pretty.mich in between beach and the beautiful city of Hoi An. The staff is reallz4really friendly and helpful. They organized our next trips and thus found better deals than those we found on the internet. The room has been the best we ever had in our journey. The bathroom is really nice and everything is very clean. It is situated a little outside the main town along a main road, but hats fine. The ivy villa has got a relly nice pool, where you can relax after having shopped for too long. The breakfast is very good. You can choose everyday for the next morning. Also, you can eat at the place even though it doesn't look as of they have a restaurant. They have a menue and we tried it once. It was very delicious ( and quite cheap , too).
Hoi An is a shopping place for everyone. Great markets, and I believe more than 100 tailors that can.makw you anything you want for a very good price in ONE DAY!! I got me a really nice suit for work and other occasions and I went quite a bit through town comparing prices. They are usually between 120 and 250 dollars, but the owner of this hotel has got 3 tailor shops as well and they have the best deals in town..thisnis due to.the fact that many shops in the city don't have their own tailors and just takes measures from you bringing these to a real toilet who finishes the job in a day. So the y need to buy a tailor and must take higher prices because of this. The owner's family are tailors themselves and don't need to charge for that. He did tell us in advance and only told us later why our suit was cheaper than in the other shops. Impaod 120 for an awesome suit that fit perfectly right away. My girlfriend got a nice skirt for $30 and says...
Read moreIf we could give more stars we would. Nam you and your team go above and beyond with your customers. Firstly we had booked a River view suite with balcony the room was large very clean and had a bath in it. We extended our stay as we loved it so much. We were able to move to a Garden View deluxe room with balcony and walk in shower. Room not as big as the suite but very suitable for our needs. No bath but walk in shower, which we preferred. Breakfast. Ohh my..... So fresh and delicious. You can make selection the night before and everything is purchased fresh that morning for you. The fruit platters are so delicious as are the freshly baked baguettes. Eggs, pancakes and local dishes also available. You will not go hungry. Nam assisted us with laundry service, currency exchange and drivers for our tours. Also tickets to many events. All the hard work was done for us. We highly recommend the Ivy Villa as it's just on the outskirts of ancient town. You can walk or GRAB into the busy and then escape when you have had enough. Ohh and there is a pool with sunbeds. And an elevator. Yes all...
Read moreIvy villa was by far our favourite hotel in Vietnam! We changed our plans last minute and Nam was really accommodating, and even sent a private car to collect us from Da Nang. He then arranged for us to stay an extra 2 days as we loved it so much. When we arrived Nam spent time with us talking through the hotel, excursions and even gave us a drink on arrival. Everything we did at Hoi an we booked through the hotel and paid at the end, the whole process was just fab. Nam was reachable on WhatsApp which made everything very easy. He even arranged for us to have some food and water whilst we waited for our airport taxi in the evening - so kind and thoughtful. The breakfast at the hotel was the best we've had, you can order as much as you want the day before. There was so much choice. Rooms were a good size and modern, bed very comfortable. Location is great, only 10 mins by bike to the old town. Bikes are free to use!! I cannot recommend this...
