Trill Rooftop Cafe — Restaurant in Hà Nội

It was my girlfriends birthday and what better way to bring a midweek birthday to a close than at a lovely rooftop cafe. . . What a mistake choosing this place!!! We got there just before 10:30pm (Google advertises the cafe closing at 11:00pm.) We tried to order a smoothie, but they had already 'put the fruit away' even after I had told them it was her birthday they still refused to let us order even the simplest smoothie. Unhappy after this news we proceeded to order a can of sprite each. . . Then a young man (apparently the manager) came up to us and in Vietnamese spoke to my girlfriend and told us we had 8 minutes to finish our drinks. He said this in a very rude manner. We paid no attention to him and went to sit outside. After while an older lady came over and told us we had until the last customers leave. Pretty much at 11pm on the dot staff members started circling and a Vietnamese nursery rhyme came on, whilst there were still many other customers there. I guess they were telling all customers it was time to go to sleep. The decor doesn't look like it has had a renovation since it has opened, it looks quite grimy, except for the swimming pool which I guess is kept clean for selfies etc. All in all a pretty Rubbish end to a very nice evening (had elsewhere.) I for one won't be returning and would not advise friends to check it out either. I'm sure in Hanoi there are much better establishments to go to for this...

Amazing vibe and views This cafe was BREATHTAKING! The entrance of the cafe makes you double think about going because it isn't very clear.

The set up is great, very stylish and clean. The food menu had a great range in options and tasted delicious.

There is a swimming pool which looks amazing but I forgot my swimmers but will Go back with them next time. It is a perfect vibe for a good afternoon hang out or even a late night even dinner with city lights views!

Highly recommend this place! Love it! A bit difficult to find but otherwise a cute rooftop cafe. I would only recommend coming here on a good Air Quality day otherwise you'd just be drinking in all that pollution.

The drinks, desserts are really subpar. The cakes especially. Come here for the view, an instagram photo, a place to leisurely chit...

Even the view is nice from this place, but not saving it much from a terrible service. We explained to stuff that we don’t drink milk, and still they put for us condensed milk and cream. When i made my order, and paid for it, they approached me after to tell they ran out of it. After i asked somethings else, I got the same reply after few min. It was already pretty much annoing, and then asked them to make mixed juice of two separate juices in menu, they said it’s impossible. The bartenders didn’t really tried to help me with the situation, and looked arrogant, like i asked them to do something disguisting (it was arambella pineapple juice combination) so i asked for money back. Never will return to this...
