I absolutely love this place! They are very popular and their business is driving to the point where they have four units side by side for their one restaurant on a main street. You can't afford that unless your food and service are excellent! The food is great and the atmosphere is pretty good. But what is the most kindness and hospitality with the owner and staff has bestowed upon me. My family came here to eat the special crab udon noodles soup. After the meal, I was stranded alone and couldn't book a ride because it was raining during rush hours. The owner recognized the distress expression on my face and had one of her waiters drive me back to my hotel. 🥰 The next day I came back to try a different dish, crab rice noodle soup, which was also very good, the owner, Út Lệ, again offered me a ride back to the hotel. But I told her it wasn't necessary because I was actually on my way to somewhere else. But I really appreciate her generosity and hospitality. Saigon street food is full of legends of people become successful with just one-dish wonder. For this place, the shop is Ut-Le (youngest daughter Le) and the dish is Banh canh cua (crab udon soup). The place became so successful that it took over another building nearby as it needs space for the crowd. It is a local favorite, mainly for local youths. Thus a lot of them complain about recent increased price of 5k VND (about 0.22 USD) for each bowl. Price went from 40k VND (about 1.7 USD) to 45k (about 1.9k). That is steep for a student butget, but most other clients just grin and bear it. The place is still packed every evening. They must be doing something right. We had ours and it was delicious. Đi ăn cũng rất nhiều quán ở Sài Gòn nhưng chỉ khoảng vài điểm thật sự đem lại cảm giác vị bánh canh của được hoà quyện với nhau chứ không chỉ là bánh canh bỏ cua vào là xong. Đây là một trong các điểm bán bánh canh cua ngon và nổi tiếng ở Sài Gòn mình ăn ở đây cũng hơn 5 năm rồi. Mình sẽ review theo cảm nhận từ trước đây tới hiện tại để mọi người hiểu hơn: Về không gian quán: 9/10 (không gian quán ngày càng rộng hơn, nhiều bàn và thoáng mát) Về dịch vụ: 9/10 (nhân viên thân thiện và hỗ trợ món ăn rất tốt) Về chất lượng: Nguyên liệu: Có vẻ sau đợt dịch covid thì mọi thứ về nguyên vật liệu đã giảm dần (thịt cua đã ít lại và nguyên liệu trứng cút trước đây 2 trứng nay chỉ còn 1 mà trứng cũng nhỏ hơn hồi trước nữa không to như trước 1 điểm trừ bởi vì giá cũng tăng theo nhưng nguyên liệu ít hẳn) Hương vị: Quán vẫn giữ vị đều từ 2017 đến nay. Về mặt này thì vị cũng là yếu tố quan trọng đối với món ăn giữ vững được hương vị là một điều rất đỉnh đối với mình. Công cụ dùng bữa: Hiện nay để tiết kiệm nhiều khâu thì đã chuyển sang dùng combo dụng cụ ăn liền (đũa, muỗng, tăm răng, giấy khô). Theo mình thì đây là 1 điểm cải tiến mạnh và đem lại sự sạch sẽ, tiện dụng và bổ ít vì đã chia sẵn đầy đủ chỉ cần dùng thôi) Tổng kết mình đánh giá chất lượng (8/10). Về giữ xe: Quán có khu giữ xe miễn phí đi bộ tầm 1p, rộng rãi, thoáng. Nếu bạn muốn thử 1 lần vị bánh canh cua thì đây là 1 gợi ý tuyệt vời dành cho bạn.

For Traveler, i would glad to review and introduce one of best Crab tapioca Noodle Soup place in Sai Gon. I’ve ate Crab tapioca Noodle Soup in here for 5 years. Now i will review it base on what i’ve been feeling from 2017 to now. About Space: 9/10 ( they extended their space from approx 20 table up to now 100 table) About Service: 9/10 (Their Staff is very friendly and take food too fast to do not let you wait too long and hurry) About Quality: 8/10 Gradients: it seem less after covid pandemic to increase inflation (Crab less, Quail eggs decrease 2 to 1 now and smaller). Taste: incredible that they still keep their traditional taste after many years. It’s really difficult to do. Dinning Utensils: Now they use disposable combo dinning utensils, it clear, clean and convenience to use.
