Bún thịt nướng Kiều Bảo CN Tô Hiến Thành. — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

Found this place on Google maps, there's a rival shop across the road selling the exact same menu so I decided to try both. This is the place with the white signboard.

Food was served instantly. Springroll was a bit too hot, you could tell it was refried, the skin was a bit too doughy and greasy, this took away from the overall taste of the ingredients. The thit nuong was at room temp and lacked the smokey notes you want, it tasted pan grilled not charcoal grilled. The sauce was okay but I wish it had a tad bit of acidity to help cut away the greasiness of the spring roll. Owner was a bit rude, maybe because I didn't speak Vietnamese. I told her table for one and she got the waiter to serve me food immediately without asking for my order, just assumed I wanted the standard.

Overall, the quality of the food was at a lower standard compared to the one across the road.

One more thing to mention, this shop is the one with several chain outlets. As I found both places on Google maps, I was unsure so I asked their Facebook page if they were a branch of "Bún Thịt Nướng Quán 339" and they replied yes. We came in for a pretty early lunch right after they opened to avoid the lunch rush. The prices are great and the food was fine but nothing special. It should be noted this is one of a local chain. We asked for two bowls with everything (in vnese) and he repeated it back to me correctly but they came out with no nem nuong. Tô 33k gồm chả giò, thịt và nem và rau bún free nên cứ nghĩ là rẻ nhưng không hề ☹️☹️☹️

Điểm cộng duy nhất của quán là rau bún free, chỉ hợp cho mấy bạn nam to khỏe ăn nhiều Khách vãng lai hay mấy bạn nữ ăn tô này ngán luôn vì cả 3 món đi kèm đều dở hết 😢😢😢

Bún thịt nướng cần thịt nướng và nc mắm ngon. Thì nc mắm ở đây tạm đc, ớt 🌶 thơm. Mình thic ăn 🌶. Chả giò chỉ toàn bún tàu k co thịt j hết, đc tí nấm mèo, lúc tính tiền mình thấy rổ hình chữ nhật để chả giò chiên sẵn dưới nền đất, ngay lối đi, cảm giác có con gì rơi rớt dô hay ruồi mũi bu cũng ko biết hic 😥😥😥 Thịt nướng 4 5 miếng nhỏ màu trắng như nướng vừa chín tới , k thơm mùi sả hay có vị j đặc trưng của thịt nướng 🥲🥲🥲 Cuối cùng là nem nướng thì tệ nhất, nem là thịt xay quết đc xiên nướng lên ăn rất ngon mà nem ở đây no bở, rời rạc luôn. Nhìn kĩ thấy như còn trộn thêm bún hay sao ấy. Bùn quá. Mình cố ăn nhung k nổi chừa cuốn chả giò v cây nem vừa cắn 1 góc lại bỏ hộp đem về luôn.
