Beach House — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

To the owner…. Please PLEASE change your entire menu, it is dire! We all complain about it and I haven’t eaten at Beach House for over a year, despite living here. I used to eat at the old restaurant (before you guys came) 2/3 times a week. So many complaints I don’t know where to start but in short the food is very bland and below average. A weird chicken dish where a piece of chicken comes out unseasoned and dry with a plate full of tomatoes! It’s not even pan fried! Lots of weird egg dishes or avocado on toast type things. This place is trying to be healthy and trendy but the food seriously misses the mark. Whoever is giving it 5/5 must have had their taste buds removed. Sorry owner, but we all think it. I hope your lease is up soon :(

This place is embarrassing and pretty much everyone I’ve spoken to at City Garden agrees. The food is mediocre at best, the portions are small and the prices are ridiculous! We’re talking Sydney prices for a bird-size portion of rubbish. The staff (or, i suppose, owner) doesn’t listen to feedback and continues with the same boring, uninspiring, overpriced and untasty menu. They then add service and tax on top of an already expensive menu! And even charge service charge if you collect the food/drink yourself and don’t dine in! I find it offensive that they think people are willing to spend so much on such low quality cuisine and I really hope everyone...

The atmosphere is good here for sure, we came here many times. But the service gets worse and worse. I do remember there was one time in last year we came here experienced bad service already. This time even worse than ever before. 3 staff came to order and check the order for us, but by the end,kept waiting more than 40 minutes, only 1 smoothie and 2 portions of food been served. The other 2 smoothie and food never been ordered and recorded. I cannot understand what were they thinking when ordered food and beverage for customers. And we took a table for 3, the third sets of tableware never being prepared and set up until we reminded them...
