The Coffee House — Restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City

[Update Mar 31, 2025] I tried this location probably 3 months ago. It's not bad. I forgot what I ordered (brown surgar coffee with milk?), 49K/$1.90. It was pretty good.

The music is a little loud if you're trying to get some work done. Otherwise, it's alright just for chatting.

The green tea CloudTea (trà xanh tây bắc) for 69K ($2.85) was not what I was expecting.

The mochi was fine, except the whipped cream it was on top of was salted and mixed with Ritz cheese-like cheese powder... which was also why the green tea/matcha latte did not taste good. For the price, I wouldn't recommend it. If you get it, I'd ask for no whipped cream and no orange powder... which I think is just a green tea latte or green tea freeze, etc.

The thing I noticed about parking (and that is not my motorbike), they're nice enough to cover your seat if it's in...

The Coffee House(TCH) with their own fashional decorations as usual, beautiful, bright and warm, comfortable atmosphere with enough noise inside, not too much to feel annoying, neither too less to make you feel alone. They have a lot kind of drinks to order. They also serve bread with grilled pork, chicken meat, jambon all day then after your meal, they always have cake for you after all. They have no beautiful point of view but you can watch their beautiful space instead. TCH here have a big parking lot for bikes enough for hundreds of them but lack of space for car. Because TCH's location is near many schools around therefor they usually get crowded but you will find your own...

An excellent place to work in the morning. Love the volume and the kind of music they play here. Not too crowded in the morning so you can easily find a suitable seat. I love the corner next to the large window on the 2nd floor. Tables are a bit too close to each other so if its crowded, you will feel a bit annoyed. Other than that, the drinks are awesome as always, especially the coffee and the roasted oolong milk tea. Staff are friendly and helpful. They bring the drink to your table instead of you serving yourself. I hope they will keep this and wont change into the self-service kind like the other...
