For years and years on the way to the airport, I’ve been thinking about going to this place. Great signage!
Downstairs is the Big Pig and upstairs is some sort of Hong Kong Steam restaurant.
Looking at the menu, I was surprised to see a fairly diverse craft beer selection, as well as items like Shisha. Interesting!
Ordered a craft hard lemongrass lemon soda, bacon, Caesar salad with chicken, Peri-Peri prawns, and a steak.
Bacon was just OK (140,000 VND), Caesar salad was a complete miss (where’s the sauce? 160,000 VND), Peri-Peri prawns were so terrible that I’ve asked the Portuguese Consul General to investigate the misappropriation of sauces to the detriment of the people of the Iberian Peninsula (160,000 VND), and the steak wouldn’t be suitable for the dogs that play in the streets in front of my apartment (455,000 VND).
In short, the food is so cost controlled (I would estimate food cost is about 10%, maximum,) that it is no longer humanly edible. Avoid (-2 points).
So what’s good here? The drink menu. Beers and ciders and the likes that are shipped to the restaurant in sealed containers and therefore not adulterated somewhere in the nuclear war zone cum kitchen.
Might be a fun place to let off steam with friends but for your sake, don’t...

The staff members spent more time socializing at their own table than serving customers. There was a table across the way with three other staff members (the same that took our order) drinking beer and having fun while we struggled to get some aassistance..
As for the food, we ordered bbq pork tips, which would be more accurately described as steamed pork with cheap BBQ sauce slathered on it. It had zero grill flavor. Really disappointing. We also ordered something called "mexican quesodilla" despite having very little cheese in it. And for the four segments we got which were quite small) it came with one tiny dish overly sweet (clearly canned) salsa. Hardly enough for eating with one slice of quesadilla much less all four.
Additionally we had grilled fish (red snapper) that came out lukewarm and soggy rather than hot and crispy. The flavor was good but they let it sit around far too long before bringing it out to us.
Honestly the only thing we felt was up to the standards i am used to was the fried potato wedges. They were crispy and hot. Unfortunately they weren't paired with an accompanying sauce other than the Mayonnaise and ketchup we already had at our table.
Overall i would not...
Read moreWent here for dinner, we ordered the fried calamari, iberico ribs? and ny steak. Fried calamari great, but that was the high point. The ribs came out very poor, it looked like something that i would feed my dog as leftovers. Steak was also poor, super thin, it was not to be called a NY steak. Waitress even knew the portions were poor and gave us a 10% discount and 2 scoops of ice cream. But 2 free scoops and a small discount doesn't make up for ribs that barely has any meat on it. I could go to a Com Tam vendor off the street and get more meat on my plate. I paid a total of about $50 and I am still hungry. Save your money, go to Restaurant Ut UT, you'll get better value for your money. I wouldn't go here again. Also the security guard didn't offer to pull our motorcycle out from where it's parked, even a vendor off the street would help us with that.
See picture: Would you pay 400k vnd for these 4...
