Space: lovely small place with fresh ambience. I specifically like their high roof, give my claustrophobic self a good minute of satisfaction. The kitchen is see-through if you walk past the cashier counter, which for me was interesting and transparent. Food: i am not even exaggerating and I don't tend to use big words like im about to but this place has some of the best burgers I've ever tried and i personally don't enjoy burgers and western food that much. Also extremely pleased to find out that the place made everything from scratch, from their mayonnaise to the buns to the ketchup even. I am freaking impressed! The honey soy garlic was well seasoned and the cow shrooms burgers was full of umami flavour and the amount of mushrooms i got was unreasonably a lot. Salad could've been a bit bigger than i expected but not an issue to me. The whole lunch was such an experience and i am outrageously pleased to say the least. Price: so veryyy affordable for what i got. Service: very helpful and kind staffs. My cashier was very polite and even helped us with parking. He was very chatty which i found to be very wholesome. Heavily recommend. I myself will be coming back for more of this goodness of a burgers. Also tempting to try out their desserts and milkshake...
Read moreI joined my friends late, so I missed their burgers. Compared to Mad Roosta (MR), the prices here are cheaper. They don't have the selection of MR, but the burgers are comparable. Size-wise about the same size of patties (beef) as the regular at MR. Quality is about the same. A little fancier at MR.
I think I had the No Frills Cow burger: caramelized onions, a slice of cheese, some brisket (?), and a little bit of mayo-based sauce. The patties I had were juicier (thus better) than the burger I had at MR. Overall, it was a good burger, but I didn't love it. I think I needed something more, perhaps tomato & lettuce, maybe bacon. My friends had a fried egg and cheese on their burgers. I believe I would have liked that more. Regardless, it's still a quality burger, esp for the price (much better than in Korea and even more so than in the USA).
It was 130K ($5.35), I believe, for the single patty. 205K ($8.40) for the double patty ver. It came with no fries. The sweet tea I ordered was only 30K ($1.25). There was VAT, like 10%...
Read moreCame for dinner and was having a good meal here until the kitchen staff starts chopping onions in an open concept kitchen. It stung our eyes so bad that we had to leave the restaurant. Staff was alerted the first time but no action was taken. It’s started to get bad 10 minutes into it until I Had to bring my 4yr old toddler out for 5 minutes for some fresh air as he was crying. Came back later to try to finish our food but couldn’t as our eyes were all tearing up. Only then the staff was asked by us again if they could stop, and eventually they did stop but it was too late. My toddler was tearing and didn’t want to be there and we lost our appetite to continue our food. My eyes stung so bad I can hardly open to look at my burger. Just Felt wasted paying for food we didn’t...
