Vietnam isn't the first place I'd expect to have such delicious, addicting curry, which I wouldn't have known existed since it's tucked within an alley inside an alley. I quickly understood why it was a full house, a decadently balanced curry that's rich and packed with umami, with a slight sweetness and spice along with all the complex spice blend used. The lamb is fall apart tender and has that distinct lamby aroma that I love, and the bread is crispy, fresh, and synonymous with a spoon. Additionally, you can order some fragrant turmeric rice with raisins inside, that provide a surprisingly refreshing burst of sweetness along with the fragrance of the turmeric oil and the texture of perfectly cooked rice. The goat curry here is incredibly awesome, it is truly the super star of this restaurant. The curry is not authentic Indian, I think its flavor and taste comes from the fusion between many cuisines. The curry goes along well with Vietnamese bread and also with biryani. I also tried medium rare goat meat salad and sauteed goat meat which are also very delicious. However, the service and the atmosphere are not as good as the food. The service is fast but the staffs are not friendly. Most of the tables are outdoor, so it is totally not recommended to come here in a hot day. Price is a bit high but it worths...

A culinary gem, tucked away in a charming communal residential apartment cove is probably a top 10 must visit in Saigon. Curried goat was a childhood staple coming from a Caribbean family and I have to admit this place would give grandma‘s recipe a good run.

If goat isn’t your thing everything else on the menu is equally delicious; 500k for several dishes and drinks was cheap by the quality and care put into a very difficult cut of meat to prepare; absolutely “fall of the bone” tender and no gamey smell whatsoever.

Definitely putting this on my list of places to visit...
