We just had our coffee and snacks from this cafe (05 Nov 2025 @ 1000 - 1130hrs). We ordered 2 glasses of iced coffee, french fries with cheese powder and 3 scoops of ice cream with fruits. I and my partner really enjoyed the view and the school of Koi Fish. The downside of this experience was the moment when I was about to fully consume the ice cream, I felt something hard in my mouth. At first, I thought it was a piece of ice or hardened sugar but I was wrong. When I pulled it out from my mouth, I was so shocked that it was a piece of broken glass. I was so lucky that I didn't munch on it or swallowed it or else it could have been worse.
I informed one of the staff but I guess due to language barrier, he couldn't understand the severity of my concern so I asked for the manager which she presented herself to me. I informed her about what happened but couldn't talk much due to language barrier either. I tried explaining everything with the use of google translate. The manager kept apologising and offered to change the ice cream or it be free of charge. I declined the offer nicely as it was not the resolution that I need. I kindly informed them that they need to make sure that they are not serving any food items that has something that can harm their consumers. I even explained to them that we are tourists and told them about health risk possibilities that can happen to me and/or my partner should any of us ingested some pieces of glass. The manager acknowledged my concern and I was told that they are liable if something will happen to me or my partner (knock on wood).
I am still in shock and quite anxious as of this writing because my partner or I might have swallowed a smaller piece of it earlier before I discovered it. And if so, any one of us might suffer an unexpected consequence in a latter or few days/weeks i.e. punctured part of intestine that could lead to bleeding and worse, death...

Read moreThe amount of professionalism and service is unbelievable. There’s multiple staff unavailable to provide any service for customers; only 2 staff serving and taking orders when only 5 tables were occupied. The food seemed under cooked and was very dirty and unhygienic, even food from the floor would be cleaner! Isn’t that unbelievable? There were also many ants in meals would could risk for dangerous diseases ants could have. Midway into our meal, it started raining. Most of the food we ordered were wet and soiled. The staff took a very long time just to realise that it could rain on the tables and got us to do things for them. While putting down the shade to block the rain, that shade was so dirty and contained an unbelievable amount of dirty rainwater and was filled of dirt and dust. Most of the food was uneatable and 780.000 dong was down the drain. Please do not come here if you want to waste money on poor...
