Let me just say right away that the food here isn’t bad. But the service…
This will be a story about how they can spoil your mood at the very beginning of the day. We came here for breakfast once again, and since we are leaving soon, we decided to buy a souvenir. Not the cheapest one by the way, costing about 20 dollars. At the checkout they gave us a bag, they said it was a gift. They explained that they were having a promotion, and when you buy over a certain amount, they give you a gift - a mug. We didn't even know about this promotion, since we weren't local, but of course it was nice. And so we sit, calmly have breakfast, and about 20 minutes later an employee comes up to us and asks to see the receipt. We show it, he says that we bought a souvenir, and according to the rules of their promotion, souvenirs are not included in it, so we have to return the gift🤡
By the way, we sat there for about half an hour, were in no hurry, and actually almost left, so it could have turned out that we would have left with a gift. If I understand anything about the meaning of the words "service" and "customer focus", then in a situation like this, when you have already given a gift, even if you really have such strange rules about souvenirs on the check, the last thing you should do is demand the gift back! We even verbally pointed out to the employee that this was not very cultural behavior, but he, like a robot, repeated that it had to be returned. Understand, the point is not that I did not receive a mug when I went to have breakfast, I did not even know about this promotion. The point is that I came to relax and eat, they also gave me a gift, and then with a routine smile they demanded it back. By the way, even without the gift, our check was not that small, also about 15-20 dollars.
Starbucks is an international chain with international standards. Nowhere during my travels around the world have I seen a person's "gift" taken away half an hour after ordering and a minute before leaving. This is inappropriate. The local culture has many rules regarding respect, but this establishment has not mastered the more basic rules of respect for a guest accepted...
Read moreIf you're looking for very poor customer service and zero accountability, you've found the right starbucks. Asked for the marquis. The name tag is in the photo, next to the cake I wanted. I was instead given a different cake. The staff agreed they'd put the name tag in the wrong place. They agreed the error was theirs. They refused to change to the food I'd hoped to have, even though same price, stating "it's already...

We were at vivo mall and it was convenient. I ordered my usual matcha green tea latte iced with soy milk. The service was good but they used regular milk instead of soy. The line got long and there was only one person working.
We decided to leave since we needed to leave. Other than that everything else...
