I already ordered at the vegan garden, and the food was quite good.
Now I am for the first time here and the food was very tasty - but the service is very, very untrained and unhelpful. They do not know how to take care of costumers (sense of very basic English: Fork, ice, eating inside, eating outside + they do not tell you what’s out for today, so we want to order something and thought about it for a while and then they just tell us: we do not serve that today + we wanted to sit inside and they said we can not, then they said we can, then we waited inside for a while and they didn’t bother us to say we can not order from inside....so we went outside - it was very hot - and we try to order from our table, which was right next to them ...they said to my Vietnamese friend - we have to stay closer and in front of them if we want to order - because that is the rule. They did not understand “mint tea with ice”.
After searching for it in the Vietnamese menu by myself, they brought me hot mint tea. I got pasta without a fork. I asked for a fork twice and they brought me twice I broken fork. They couldn’t find a unbroken one for a while... I asked for salt and pepper and it took them again a while - and then my friend ordered with me a smoothie bowl (which I think is not telling that much time) and it took them (even tho the whole place was empty) around 30min.
So all in all food is great and delicious - but please work on your service skills and your communication skills (not necessarily the English, just the normal costumer service bc my friend spoke Vietnamese with them and they weren’t...
Read moreMy husband and I love vegetarian/vegan food but the food here missed the mark for me. We’ve been here 3 times because my husband keeps wanting to “give it another chance” by ordering something different each time but I’ve been disappointed each visit. The banh mi sandwich tastes like it has an identity crises: they mix mayonnaise, soy sauce and some kind of marinara on top of pasty fake meatballs - Not sure if they’re going for Italian or Vietnamese but those flavors do not go well together. The soups are snotty, tasteless and pretty much not consumable. The Pad Thai is too dry and flavorless. The bun cha gio also confuses my tastebuds - The egg rolls are stuffed with a mung bean mixture, giving it a dense and pasty texture that isn’t anywhere close to a regular egg roll and I’m not sure why they don’t use regular rice vermicelli? The banh xeo, burger and smoothie bowls were ok. Wish I could have loved it because there aren’t many vegetarian options in D7, but I think I have to call it quits after the...
Read moreTL;DR - Waited... waited... waited... raw fries... not even an apology.
Customers order and pay before sitting, which would be fine if it didn't take so long for the waitress to put through a simple order of a sandwich and fries. 5 mins after ordering we were told the sandwich we had ordered was not available. Changed it to a burger. Waited. Burger comes down first. Finished the burger. Waited. Another 10mins before the fries arrive only to find that they are still raw. Had to send them back to be cooked properly. Waited. No apologies when trying to give the feedback to the staff/owner directly. In fact, they argued it wasn't the restaurant's fault that the fries were raw! The restaurant can in fact do good food, but this time they messed up every single step of the way and completely failed to own up to their...
