Nôm Nôm Restaurant — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

Usually I'm not one to complain but this place was downright horrible. They don't have a menu and I have to repeatedly ask them for the price of each type of seafood multiple times before they acknowledge my existence and give me the highly jacked up price.

Absolutely not worth even half of what you pay. The hefty looking portions do not warrant the almost 5x price tag you pay compared to other places serving the same dish. Servers were helpful with changing plates and sauce, but the salesman picking the seafood was god awful, not an ounce of respect for the customer and was berating us to buy more food.

Thinking back to it now there's probably a whole inside circle in on this scam of an establishment. The taxi driver highly recommended this place and claimed it was the only seafood place nearby. They probably get a piece of what unsuspecting tourists and locals alike pay.

It was our fault believing a stranger off the street in this country without further speculation. Should've paid attention to how friendly he was to one of the servers and exchanged some change like he had done it a hundred times before. Also food was not even mediocre, lacking in salt, seasoning, and just flavour in general.

But hey at least the Pepsi tasted the same and they didn't substitute it with some fake. But that's about it for pros. Oh also we didn't get diarrhea after so I guess that's 2 points.

Would not recommend even if you have all the money in the world. Disgusting place, disgusting sales person, they give this entire country a bad rep. Please...

If you are a foreigner stay away unless you speak fluent Vietnamese, they will rip you off...not necessarily by price as we made sure to ask for prices first, but by what you order. Whole fried fish becomes 4 pieces, fried rice with egg is just rice and egg nothing like the menu pictures, ask for a drink they will bring out 2... They hover around and Pressure you to order instantly without even having had 30 seconds to look at the menu. Their demeanour with locals is totally different they give the menu and basically walk away until they are ready to order. The food was decent just had a bad vibe like you had to be on...

I had a disappointing experience at BỜ KÈ LÀNG BIẾN. Firstly, I was overcharged on the bill, which was not only surprising but felt unfair. Additionally, the restaurant’s cleanliness was concerning, the overall environment did not meet basic hygiene standards. The most troubling aspect was witnessing the owner giving their puppy food from the same plate used for customers, which was highly unsanitary.
