PANDA restaurant — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

This place is what I would call a classic "Google 5 star 1 star" place. All of the reviews either say it was the best or worst thing ever. So what is going on?

The place has a ridiculously huge menu. Way too big to be able to keep everything fresh. I bet they have a freezer even Lord Byron would get lost in.

So it's hit and miss on if what you order is going to be good or not. Probably for the things they are cooking everyday it is pretty good, otherwise not.

It's a 3 star place in my opinion, but they lose a star for not accepting cards and making me walk to go and pay by card in...

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! EVERYTHING WAS AWFUL!! Ordered a bottle of white wine that was at room temperature when everyone knows white wine should be served cold. Then we clams and grilled oysters and they were just ok, nothing to brag about. Then ordered grilled tuna which was as hard as a rock and grilled cobia which had bones in it!!! Then went to pay and they told us only cash, no card allowed! Now I’m almost out of cash while visiting Vietnam!!! Don’t you think that would be good information to have before we sat down!?!?! Outstanding food. Very delicious. Just down a quiet street off beach road. I was very hungry and ate Beef Pho stir fry noodles and then Bbq soaked Pork spare Ribs. They were to die for. Match any western restaurant overseas. If you are in Nha Trang it’s a must to try it. Total bill for two mains was 220,000 VND. Quiet/ish season atm. But the restaurant can seat over 80 people across 18 tables (6 & 4 combinations but could easily be brought closer together for a large group. Some lively music playing to make to mood...
