Utterly disappointed with our stay here. We showed an hour before check in to the power being out due to the construction currently going on which is fine but being honest and transparent about that on their website would have been appreciated. We asked if we could go up to their beautiful rooftop pool we saw online and we were told it's still under construction. Say what?!? Wow. During our dreadful 24 hours there we constantly shared their elevators with the construction workers and staff which doesn't bother us but the dusty elevator would literally stop 5-6 times easily for the construction workers and staff before we got to our 15th floor room. The hallway leading up to our room had cords running through it to open dusty rooms under construction which is fine but once again we had no clue we were walking into this. The staff did their best to make us happy but they are pretty much set up for failure with this current situation that people have no idea they're walking into. However when we were checking out the cleaning lady brought down two towels that she told the front were ruined and we have to pay for them with attitude and she had the nastiest tone in her voice while giving us nasty glances with a scowl on her face. Really? We don't speak Vietnamese but it was obvious to see. 1 towel was admittedly dirty but it was because there is no shower curtain and we used it to wipe up the water that was everywhere due to no shower curtain. We explained that and the manager on duty understood and and we didn't have to pay for that one. The other towel that was supposedly ruined was from my girlfriend using tiger balm for her ankle due to spraining it the previous week and using the towel to put it under and wiping it off with so as not muck up anything. Wouldn't bleaching the towel take care of the stains? I think most of the world would say yes but apparently not the sochi hotel. I generally don't like to be negative but we were so disappointed with this place I have to warn others. I truthfully don't get how this place can have a bunch of good reviews. Some advice to the owners would be put on your website that there is no pool available and that you are still under construction so people know...

Read morePositive: Room itself is comfortable, well equipped. Location is fantastic, in a little alley just off Tran Phu Street. Staff were overall very friendly, restaurant staff were also very kind and allowed me to borrow a bowl, even offered utensils. The lady at the reception at my checkout was also very friendly, assisted me with my luggage down the stairs.. Negative: No ramp at entrance or assistance to carry luggage on arrival. Breakfast starts at 6:00 however when I arrived at 6:00 it was half ready, quite disappointing as I had an early flight. Everytime I called to ask for extra water, even on days where I did not request for room cleaning I was told that I would be charged. Pretty obscene to charge for water when you don't offer filtered water and even though they have a water dispenser in the lobby, it is only reserved for staff. Left my room on do not disturb on a few occasions and was still pestered by housekeeping staff for cleaning. What's the point of having DND if you're just going to be disturbed? HSK staff who came to clean my room did not know how to refill the toilet paper in the dispenser, they just left it on top of the towels, I suppose it's the guest's job to refill it themselves? Bed is squeaky and makes noise when you toss and turn. Asked reception staff about airport bus and they said it was very far away, suggested taxi only for me to discover that they have an airport bus stop just at 96A, the hotel is located at 96B. Misleading information. Gentleman who took my payment at reception did not understand the concept of providing a receipt. Had to explain this to him before he finally agreed to give me a copy. HSK lady in the lobby gave me uncomfortable looks and made rude remarks about the bowl I was holding, in Vietnamese, little did she know I was ready to personally return it to the...
