Bảo Ngọc (сапфир) Restaurant [сапфир ресторан, vietnamese cuisine restaurant] — Restaurant in Nha Trang City

My Partner and I came to this restaurant, and ordered our meals and payed for our meals. The ‘dumplings’ are about 1/3 the size of the menu photos. Meals do not match menu photos at all. The pizza is good, but not worth it for what happened next. An older lady (presumably the manager) kept coming over to our table and re adjusting our placemats, taking away condiments when we were still using them, very up in our faces and rude. As we were leaving, she tried to double charge us even though the other staff knew we had paid in full. She proceded to show us the receipt arguing we hadn’t payed. She started yelling at us and getting very aggressive. I felt unsafe and we walked away. I feel bad for the staff that work under her, the other staff were lovely and seemed afraid of their boss - terribly atmosphere for any work place, let alone when you are trying to enjoy dinner. I had a lovely dinner here and the owner was so friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately there was a table of 4 English adults and a boy of about 11 who were so unbearably loud that I ate as fast as I could and left. I would have loved to have stayed for some fruit or a smoothie or another drink but their noise level was hurting my ears. I wish people would have some manners when they go places as the poor business owner doesn't need annoying customers who are shouting at each other and the boy continually.

I ordered a chicken dish and some egg stir fried rice. The chicken dish was about 75% bone and the rest meat and skin. The egg stir fried rice was barely warm rice with a fried egg tossed on top. Maybe this is a Vietnamese style thing but not what I expected. The staff and owner were very nice.

Looking closer at the reviews it seems odd that half the review as of writing this came in the last 2 weeks and all 5 star and so many have never reviewed anything else. Maybe there is a special dish...
