my guy and I passed by this restaurant many times, looked at the menu and then walked away because the menu didn't look attractive. we finally go inside to have lunch then we came back for dinner on the same day, he even said he surprise that how much I can eat, he never seen me eat that much. actually I'm not vegetarian, he is. 😅 luckily we tried it, if we had it on the last day before leaving it would have been a pity. The food here will surprise you with the high quality but the price is so cheap. my guy love food and we have tried many restaurants from high end to affordable. not to brag but in fact we can say the foods here are much better than many expensive restaurants we have been to. also the drink is delicious. i highly recommend everyone to try mix juice. we tried the pineapple lassi and it was the best lassi we have ever had, even though we always order lassi at every Indian restaurant. i rarely leave reviews but it would be a shame if people walked by and didn’t stop like we were. we sat inside and watched so many people look at the menu and walk away. i believe the first thing this restaurant should do is invest in a professional looking and attractive menu, sales will be triple soon. also separate the vegetarian and vegan menus. note that they use separate utensils for each cause many vegans are afraid of getting cheese or eggs in their food. the food and drinks here are even worth selling at a...
Read moreVery bad experience !! Before starting to serve (around 7 PM ) they told they do not have rice. We still proceeded with order as we were fine without rice. Sometime later as no one came upstairs to serve us, went downstairs to order drinks. When asked if I can order tea and what are my options, told to go upstairs and check menu on table, as they do not have one. Asked to tell what are my options for wine and told again Red or white only when she was at bar table itself did not mind telling me which red wine. Requested for warm water and came to know not available and only have it for tea or coffee. Also the way we were being told was very unpleasant and I told her that if there is any problem from our side and if she wants we can pay for the preparation and leave. Her reaction was 'REALLY' . Further were told to wait as they do not want us to leave and willing to serve ,so we stayed back thinking they have decided to server better. But the lady simply didn't care. Further food was disappointing .. pasta overcooked and not look like pasta, garlic breads was ok, hotpot base was tasteless!! overall disappointing.. and guess what our wine and warm water was never served !!! Nor any sincere apology for any...
Read moreStaff were prompt and attentive on arrival. They spoke fluent English. [They didn’t have baby seat for those that are travelling with a baby/toddler. Thankfully we brought our own which attaches to any regular chair. Would highly recommend you do this when travelling in Vietnam from our experience of travelling the last few weeks.] We ordered the fried spring rolls, Pho, fried rice, grilled eggplant with spring onion oil, stir fried tofu & mushroom, and a banana & mango smoothie. All the food looked freshly prepared when they came out. Only criticism is that the spring rolls were a bit oily and the Pho was not a “Pho” per se as it just tasted like a generic veggie soup and nothing reminiscent of traditional Pho would taste like. [Just an observation but have noticed that the Pho up North is not as great as South of Vietnam, or at least to our family’s...
