Sorry to have to leave this very honest review, but the other reviews are very surprising and quite a few likely fake given the number of reviews these accounts have previously written...

This was unfortunately the worst meal we've had in Vietnam, and incredibly overpriced - we paid 432k (approx £13) for undercooked and diluted instant noodles, shrimp and meat spring rolls (that had a sliver of meat and no discernible prawn in sight), betel leaf rolls (these were probably the more decent dish) and stir fried chicken+rice & 1 drink.

As a comparison, the night before we had eaten in the (still touristy) centre of Tam Coc and paid that for half a roast duck, a whole grilled fish, plate of veg, fried rice and drinks.

Nevertheless, the hosts are eager for business, so hopefully they can adapt and elevate the experience in time to come.

I recently had lunch at Trang An Local Cuisine, where the atmosphere was as remarkable as the food. The restaurant, set against a stunning mountain backdrop, offered a refreshing breeze that enhanced the already serene ambiance. During our visit, we encountered flooded roads and noticed that no one was working around. We decided to stop by a restaurant where the owner warmly waved us in. It was a delightful experience, as we were the only guests enjoying our meal while taking in the amazing views. The owner was incredibly friendly, and the food was outstanding!
