Cafe Bích Thuận Restaurant — Restaurant in Ninh Bình Province

This little spot tucked away in Ninh Binh is awesome! I only had the cold coffee with milk and it was delicious. Ended up chatting with the owner for almost an hour or more (translating through our phone) and he kept pouring us some very tasty traditional Vietnamese tea (free of charge) - as soon as we took a sip he immediately topped us up. He even let us take a hit from his traditional Vietnamese water pipe! Be warned, it is pretty harsh, at least for someone who doesn't smoke regularly. Chatting with a local, drinking delicious tea, smoking a water pipe, all in the middle of what felt like nowhere definitely made this experience a highlight...

Try the Hot Black Coffee it's really tasty and not bitter at all! It sits between a double Espresso and a short Americano, the sugar lies in the bottom so you can decide how sweet it tastes by sipping on top or stirring it up.

Pho is charged with chicken, good value here.. The Banh My is served with bread on the side(see the picture) so don't expect to take away.

Very cool atmosphere in a quiet street, the family is charming even if they don't really speak English,...

From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but look past that and you will be met by warm and friendly tenants.

Upon arrivel the tenant took care of our motorbike and served us a (free) cup of Shi Tea, whic was delicious. We both had the noodles with beef and it was delicious. Honest portions with great taste. The lady tenant even gave us some (free) bananas for dessert ! We paid about 140k for both of us and it was honestly a steal.

Would definately recommend...
