This is a gem of a place. Dropped in for some dinner here because it was the closest restaurant to our homestay. The food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. But the main draw for this place is the owner. She takes such pride in her cooking and makes you feel like you're visiting her home. She brought us out so many extra bits on top of our order, all free of charge, just because she wanted to share her food with us. Fruit, snacks, roasted nuts, tea, all grown or picked or prepared by herself. There were a few other people eating there too and a few people playing pool, as well as some children playing in the corner, which all gave the place a lively, homely feel to it. You’re welcomed at Vi Tuyen by the kids shouting hello at you from behind the bar and if that’s not a clear indicator of what the service is like here you’re then brought complimentary popped rice and tea before you’ve even ordered! We had the vegetable noodles, beef pho, fresh spring rolls and chicken skewers, which were all delicious. After 1 month in Vietnam I have to say, that this is the best restaurant so far. 🇻🇳I’ve come here because of the ratings and now I see why people love it so much. The food is just excellent and very affordable but what’s the main thing that stands out here is the service and the attitude of the owners. Such a lovely people that give this place all the best that they can. They always smiled at us gave us free things extra such as popped rice, fruits and delicious tea.
